IPU CET 2020 NEWS
NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
This is the latest update by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University that IPU CET 2020 will be conducted in online mode for the academic session 2020-21. As said by Vice Chancellor, Mahesh Verma - This is the first time GGSIPU is conducting computer based examination for admission. The entrance exams for admission in IP University will commence from April 25, 2020 to May 5, 2020.
IP University has released the admission brochure and prospectus for 2020-21 session. Not only this, the University is looking forward to add a few more graduate programmes. A total of 117 affiliated colleges of Delhi NCR provide admission in various programmes through IPU CET. The Application forms will be out from March 1 – March 31, 2020. Candidates can complete the registration process online on the university website.
IP University offers admission in various undergraduate, postgraduate, postgraduate diploma, advance diploma, M.Phil and Ph.D programmes through IPU CET. The below shown infographic depicts the major highlights of IPU CET 2020.

All IPU CET 2020 will be held for a duration of 2.5 hours. All the entrance exams will be MCQs based, except M.A. English. The medium of examination will be English, except B.Ed for which the medium will be both English and Hindi.

All applicants are required to appear in Common Law Admission Test – Under Graduate, 2020 (CLAT – UG, 2020) that is conducted by National Law University‘s on a rotational basis. The University shall not conduct its own CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit prepared on the basis of (CLAT – UG, 2020) Merit for its admissions.

The Question Paper shall be set both in English and Hindi Language (Except the English Comprehension Section which shall only be in english).

Subject of Entrance Test
All applicants are required to appear for Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Paper 1 Conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The University shall not conduct its own CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit of JEE Main Paper 1 for its admissions.
