STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
GGSIPU has recently released the second schedule of IPU CET 2016 B.Voc.Counselling. The list of qualifying candidates was based on their performance in IPUCET. The candidates are required to report in person, for Verification of Documents and Allotment of Seats, at the time, date and venue of counselling as mentioned below.

The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts its Common Entrance Test, IPUCET 2016, each year to admit students to its undergraduate and postgraduate courses. GGISPU is one of the most preferred universities in India where a number of candidates appear in its entrance exam. The exam is extremely competitive. The candidates are allotted colleges based upon the rank they score in IPUCET 2016. This year, the exam was held in May and the IPUCET Results were declared soon after competition of exams for all programmes.

The counselling will proceed on the basis of the candidate’s Category and Rank. Candidates are required to check their details very carefully before coming on the counselling day. Below is the counselling schedule:

Seat Allocation in Delhi and Outside Delhi Region
Candidates may please take note of the below criteria that will be applicable to the seat allocation in Delhi and Outside Delhi Region:
The candidates who apply through Distance/Open Education system of any recognized University/Board and fail to provide the proof of his/her study centre being located in Delhi, shall not be considered for Delhi region Seats, and shall be considered for admission in the Outside Delhi Region.
The Reservation Policy is applied to candidates that belong to SC/ST/PWD/Def/KM categories. They are requested to bring along their original reservation certificates along with the attested photocopy for claiming their seat. This certificate must be issued from their respective State/Region. The different instructions for claiming their seats through different categories is mentioned below:
A candidate must have a rank in the merit list for the specific CET Code. Any unfulfilled SC/ST seat will not be converted to general seats.
A list of approved Competent Authorities for the issuance of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe certificates is as under:
Candidates must bring in their original certificates. Further, the candidates seeking admission under Defence category are advised to bring signed copy of the Appendix 1,Part B of Admission Brochure, 2016 (Uploaded on University Website). The reservation under Defence Category will be in the following order of priority:

Candidates are required to bring a certificate of the Vocational Rehabilitation Centre for Physically Handicapped, 9,10,11 Karkardooma, Vikas Marg, Delhi-I I 0092, which will state that applicant is fit for undergoing the said course as per Appendix 2 in part B of admission brochure 2016.
One seat will be reserved for Kashmiri migrants in each institute. Admission will be based on merit through CET 2016. A certificate from the Competent Authority stating the Kashmiri Migrant Quota is to be presented to avail admission. Since, the seats of Kashmiri Migrant Quota are supernumerary, they will not be converted at all in any other category in case they remain unfilled.
27% of the total seats are reserved for Delhi OBC candidates. The reservation will be available only in the University Schools of Studies and other Government Institutes. Competent Authority of the Government of NCT of Delhi. Certificate issued by Govt. of India will not be accepted under any circumstances. This reservation is for candidates from Delhi only.
A certificate issued by a Competent Authority of Delhi to an individual on the basis of Caste Certificate of his/her parents from another state will be accepted for claiming a seat under the OBC Category if and only if the caste is in the list of notified OBC list by Govt. of NCT of Delhi. The non-creamy layer certificate should be issued after 1st April, 2016.
The eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Vocational Studies programme is below. The candidate must secure min. 50% in their 10+2 to be eligible to apply. For the reserved categories, they get a relaxation of 5%:
The upper age limit is 45 years. The upper age limit can be relaxed upto 5 years in exceptional cases, by the Admission Officer of the concerned programme, if he is satisfied with the merit of the candidate. Candidates must apply provisionally if they exceed the upper age limit along with a detailed explanation application regarding the gap period and supportive documents.
IPUCET 2016 B.Voc. Fee Structure
Part Academic Fee of INR 25,000/- (interim fee) is to be paid at the time of counselling. The balance fee (if any) is to be paid at their respective college at the time of reporting.

Candidates are required to bring the below documents at the time of counselling:
a) Bank Draft(s) in favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, payable at Delhi. The candidate will write his name, date of admission, phone, address, mobile No., name of the programme, CET Rank and CET Roll Number on the back of the Bank Draft(s).
b) Four passport sized photographs (same as that in admit card).
d) Copy of Admission verification form (As per Appendix 4A in Part B of Admission Brochure(2016-17).
e) Proof of date of birth (Secondary School Marks Sheet & Certificate) (Original and Photocopy).
f) Marksheets /Certifcates of qualifying examination: The candidate will be required to bring the Original Certificates/Marksheets of all the year wise or semester wise in original along with photocopy of Certificates/ Mark sheets of qualifying examination.
g) For Distance/ Open Learning Cases: In case of students who have passed the qualifying examination through distance/ open education system of any recognized University/ board/ institution, the necessary documentary evidence related to location of his/her study centre i.e. study centre proof, certificate from the University imparting open/distance education certifying the location of the study centre to be submitted.
h) Physical Fitness Certificate: All the students shall be required to submit a Medical Certificate indicating fitness from a Registered Medical Practitioner as per format given in Performa of Medical Certificate is given in Part-8 in Admission Brochure 2016-17 (As per Appendix 6).
i) Reserved Category Certificate: All reservation category candidates who are seeking admission in reserved category in DOBC/SC/ST/Def/PWD/KM must bring their reservation certificate in original along with the attested photocopy of the certificate for claiming seat against the reserved category.
j) Conduct and Character Certificate in original from the Head of the Institution from where the qualifying examination has been passed or from a Gazetted Officer in Original along with the attested photocopy, not more than 6 (Six) months old.
k) Application regarding age or any other relaxation with necessary approval (if necessary).
