GCET 2017 Exam Dates are released by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa.
This year, Goa CET 2017 will be conducted on May 9 and 10. Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) is conducted for admissions to courses like B.E., B.Pharm, BHMS, BAMS, Allied Health Sciences, B.Sc. in Nursing and B.Arch. in the state of Goa.
Goa CET 2017 will be conducted in offline mode. Nearly 1300 seats of Bachelor of Engineering at state engineering colleges will be filled through this exam. GCET 2017 will be conducted in two days for three papers which will include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. The paper will be in Pen Paper mode in English with 225 Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs) in total. The first paper will be of Physics, second will be of Chemistry and third will be of Mathematics. Each paper will contain 75 MCQs. Each question carries 1 mark and no mark will be deducted for the wrong answer.
GCET 2017 Application Form will be released by DTE, Goa in online mode only, from the last week of March 2017. The application form for GCET 2017 will be available in the designated centres at Goa. The last date to submit the application form without the late fee will be the first week of April 2017 and with the late fee, it will be the last week of April 2017.
Aspirants must fill the GCET 2017 application form completely with all the required details (Personal, educational, etc.) and documents (Photograph, signature, etc.) before the due date. After the due date, the application form will not be accepted under any circumstances. Candidates need to download the official prospectus of GCET 2017 wherein it will carry two forms (Form A - Application form and Form B - Counselling form). Candidates need to download and fill Form A to apply for GCET 2017.
Candidates need to submit the application form of GCET 2017 by enclosing in an envelope along with Demand Draft to the Chairman of Admission Committee, DTE, Goa. Once the application form is submitted, any request for the withdrawal of candidature will not be entertained. The important Application dates for GCET 2017 are given below:

GCET Application form must be submitted latest by the first week of April. GCET 2017 Admit Card will be made available within two to three days after the last date of submission. GCET Examination is scheduled to be held on May 9 & 10, 2017. Candidates have to visit the official website of GCET to download their Admit card.
Candidates are advised to carry the Admit card with them during the examination, otherwise, they will not be allowed to sit in the examination. GCET is a pen-paper test and has multiple choice objective type questions in the English language, each question carrying 1 mark. GCET 2017 Exam dates are given below:

GCET 2017 will be conducted in three shifts. The duration of all the shifts is 2 hours each. The Shift I & Shift II will be held on May 9, 2017, while Shift III will be held on May 10, 2017. Shift III will have an optional subject, Mathematics for the applicants who have applied for Engineering courses and Biology for the applicants who have applied for medical courses. GCET Result 2017 will be announced by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), State Government of Goa. GCET 2017 Result is expected to be declared by the third week of May 2017. Candidates shall check their result on the official website of GCET 2017.
After the announcement of GCET Result 2017, qualified candidates will be called for the GCET Counselling 2017. For taking part in the GCET Counselling eligible candidates have to fill out Form- B which will be released soon after the declaration of results. The expected date for GCET counselling is the third week of June 2017. All the qualified candidates have to bring their documents for verification during the counselling, without which their candidature will be cancelled.
