NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
AICTE, the conducting body of GPAT, has recently released a notification informing candidates about shifting of exam days. Now, the exam will be conducted in one day session instead of two days’ session. The GPAT 2017 Exam which was scheduled to be held on January 28 and January 29 respectively, will be held on January 28 only. The second day i.e. January 29, 2017 has been declared as the ‘Reserve Day’.
AICTE has been known for its fluctuating stand from quite a long time now. This is because, in the year 2016, the conducting body made changes in the format as well as revamped the structure of GPAT Exam. Now, on October 6 at around 5 PM, AICTE notified on its official website about January 29, 2017 being the Reserve Day. It means that only in dire emergency, the second day will be used as a test day otherwise GPAT will be over within a single session on January 28, 2017.
GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) is a national level entrance exam conducted by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) every year. The exam is conducted for all the qualified Pharmacy graduates for admission into the Master’s (M.Pharm)/ Ph.D. programmes offered by various GPAT Score accepting institutes.
The GPAT Exam is a three-hour long exam and is purely a computer based online one, which is conducted in a single session.
