Procedure of this scholarship is to be initiated by the institute in which a candidate is studying, and not by the student himself. First of all, the college uploads the data of all the eligible candidates on AICTE’s portal. After uploading the data, a unique ID number for each student is generated and the institute has to distribute these identification numbers to the students.

After the unique identification number is generated, student has to reach out to the official website of AICTE, which is, and upload the necessary documents. The documents to be uploaded are:

    • GPAT Scorecard of candidate
    • Scanned copy of the first page of pass book of candidate’s bank account
