NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
Central University of Kashmir offers admission for various courses through CUCET 2017. Candidates are required to register themselves on the university website after the declaration of CUCET 2017 results to appear for Kashmir admission process. Official notification will be released soon by Central University of Kashmir for admission in various courses.
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of CUCET. The shortlisted candidates on the basis of merit list will be called for Kashmir Admission. They are required to bring all the original documents at the time of admission.
The students whose name will be shortlisted in merit list will be displayed on the University website and Notice Board. Then candidates have to present themselves with all required documents at the time of admission process.
CUCET is a joint exam which is conducted by the 9 state Universities (Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu) for admission to its various UG (Under Graduate), PG (Post Graduate) and Research programs. Candidates have to fulfill eligibility criteria to admission in Kashmir University.
CUCET 2017 Application form will be available from March 14, 2017 on the official website of CUCET 2017. Candidates can apply till April 15, 2017. CUCET (Central Universities Common Entrance Test) is scheduled to be conducted on May 21 and 22, 2017. The application fee is INR 700 for general candidates. There is relaxation for reserved candidates (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD) is INR 300. The CUCET 2017 exam will be conduct offline mode (Pen and paper mode) in six cities (Delhi, Srinagar, Jammu, Chennai, Mumbai and Gwalior).
The duration of the exam is 2 hour for all programs. All the questions will be in MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) form. Each question carry one mark. For every incorrect answer ¼ mark will be deduct.
The CUCET 2017 Registration will start on March 14, 2017 eligible applicants can apply on the official website. Candidates are suggested before applying for CUCET 2017 check the CUCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria. The exam will be conduct on May 21 and 22, 2017. The CUCET 2017 Eligibility is different for various courses. The Candidates who are applying for Central University of Kashmir must have fulfill the eligibility criteria to apply for CUCET 2017. The minimum eligibility criteria is 12th passed with minimum 50 percentile marks. The CUCET 2017 registration process will start on March 14, 2017. Eligible candidates can apply till April 15, 2017 on the official website of CUCET 2017. Candidates have to pay application fee INR 700, reserved candidates have to pay INR 300 only at the time of registration.
The CUCET 2017 Admit Card will be released on May 06, 2017. Applicants can download their CUCET 2017 Admit Card from the official website of CUCET. Admit card is a very important document, candidates have to bring their admit card to the exam center. Else they cannot sit for exam.
There are reservation for reserved categories (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD). The general category carry highest weight and PWD category carry lowest weight.

CUCET 2017 Result will announced on June 17, 2017. The selection process is based on final merit list. Candidates can check their CUCET 2017 Result on the official website of CUCET. The merit list will come course wise. After the declaration of final merit list candidates will go for next round i.e. Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
For admission in Central University of Kashmir, final selection is based on score of qualifying exam. Candidates who will be shortlisted by merit list will be eligible for GD round (Group Discussion) and PI round (Personal Interview).
