CUCET 2018 Answer Key, Question Paper, Analysis & Cut off

CUCET 2018 has been successfully conducted by Central University of Rajasthan. CURAJ has released the provisional Answer Key of CUCET 2018 on April 30, 2018. To download and check the CUCET 2018 answer key, candidates need to enter their Application ID and Date of Birth. Candidates will be given an opportunity to challenge the released answer keys till May 4, 2018. CUCET 2018 Result will be declared on May 25, 2018.

CUCET is a national level combined entrance test organized for providing admission into various UG, PG & other courses offered by the central universities of Haryana, Jharkhand, Kashmir, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Jammu, Karnataka, South Bihar, Kerala and Rajasthan.


How to Check Answer Key?

The Central University of Rajasthan will release the provisional Answer key on April 30, 2018. Candidates will be able to challenge the answer key till 11:59 pm on May 4, 2018, if they have objections to any of the answers given in the answer key. 

  • The Final Answer key will be released on May 9, 2018.
  • CUCET 2018 Answer Key will be accessible in online mode only.

The Central University of Rajasthan will also release the OMR sheet of candidates. Candidates will be able to download JEE Main official answer key from the official website by following the steps:

  1. Visit the official website of CUCET 2018
  2. Click on the official link of CUCET 2018 Answer Keys
  3. Enter your login details i.e. Application number and password
  4. Click on the Submit button.
  5. Download the Answer Key
  6. Save a copy of the CUCET Answer Key

How to Challenge Answer key?

Candidates can submit any grievances/complaints against the answer key by May 4, 2018. The provisional Answer key for CUCET 2018 will be released on April 30, 2018. After reviewing all the complaints/grievance, the conducting body will release the final answer key of CUCET on May 9, 2018. 

To challenge CUCET Answer key, candidates will have to send their challenge or grievance through email to enqcucet2018@curaj.ac.in. No other mode of submission will be accepted by the authorities. The challenges received from candidates will be evaluated by the committee of expert and their decision will be accepted as final.

How to Calculate Score?

  • Candidates will have to cross check their response with the official answer key 
  • Mark all the correct answers with a tick and all the incorrect answers with a cross as per their response in the paper. 
  • Count the number of correct and incorrect answers.
  • The formula to calculate the CUCET scores is as follows:
CUCET 2018 Score (Out of 100 marks) = (Total number of correct answers x 1) – (Total number of incorrect answers x 0.25)

Marking Scheme 

CUCET 2018 question paper will consist of a total 100 marks. One mark is awarded for each right answer while 0.25 marks are deducted for answering wrong or more that one answer. Questions not attempted will not be assessed and hence will not be considered in a final score.

Detailed Paper Analysis

CUCET 2018 Examination is scheduled to be conducted on April 28 and 29, 2018 through offline mode. The exam will be conducted in two parts, Part A and Part B. Part-A will contain topics from English language, General awareness, Mathematical aptitude and Analytical skills comprising of 25 questions. Part-B will be divided into three sections and will consist of total 75 MCQs from the domain knowledge.

Paper Analysis of CUCET 2017

In the year 2017, there was no ambiguous question. CUCET 2017 question paper was of moderate to hard difficulty level with mostly conceptual questions. Few questions from some subjects were even lengthier than last year.

Overall, the paper was slightly easier than CUCET 2016.


The Cut off for CUCET 2018 will be released along with the results on May 25, 2018, by Central University of Rajasthan. CUCET Cutoff 2018 is the minimum marks required for the admissions to the participating central universities.

Result Declaration

The conducting body of CUCET 2018 will release the result for CUCET 2018 via online mode on the official website of CUCET. The results will be announced on May 25, 2018. The result will be declared in the pdf format, which will include candidates’ overall score, All India Rank(AIR), Category Rank. Based on the marks secured by the candidates, the conducting authority will prepare a merit list for CUCET 2018 Counselling Process.

How to check CUCET 2018 Result?

  • Go to the official website of CUCET 2018(www.cucetexam.in).
  • Click on the link of “CUCET Result”
  • Enter your Application/Roll number and date of birth/password and click on “Submit”
  • CUCET 2018 Result will be displayed on the screen.
  • Check your name, roll number, Score, Rank and category rank.
  • Download the result for future references.
