DNB CET 2018 Admit Card

DNB CET 2018 Admit Card is provided to applicants who have successfully accomplished all the application form tasks successfully. The admit card will be available on the official website

  • Applicants will receive DNB CET 2018 Admit Card 24 hours post submission of Application Form.
  • Admit Card is a mandatory document to be carried to the to the exam center.
  • You shall also bring one photo ID proof (driving license/ voter ID /PAN card/Aadhar card or any other govt. ID, a notarized Affidavit with photo) in which the photo of the applicant is attached and clearly visible.
  • DNB CET Admit Card has details such as name of applicant, address of the allocated exam center, Course, photograph and signature of the candidate.
  • Verify the information on the admit card and discrepancies must be reported to the conducting authority, NBE.

DNB CET is an exam conducted to offer admission into various Super Specialty courses. The test provides admission to DM/MCh and DNB 3-year Super Specialty courses at NBE accredited hospitals/Institutions and medical colleges. Diplomate of National Board Centralized Entrance Test-Super Specialty (DNB CET-SS) is organized bi-annually.

Steps to Download DNB CET Admit Card

After successfully completing the registration process for DNB CET 2018 and scheduling your exam, the applicants will receive their admit card on the registered email address within 24 hours of scheduling. Availability is on a first come, first served basis, and candidates will only be shown options that are available at the point of scheduling.

Admit cards can also be downloaded from the website by the following steps.

  • Firstly, visit the official website
  • Use the username and password to log in.
  • Locate the “Admit card” tab.
  • Click on the tab
  • The admit card will get opened in a separate screen and can be downloaded from there.

Details on Admit Card

DNB CET admit card will contain the following details:

  • Name
  • Registration number
  • Date of birth
  • Date of examination
  • Photograph
  • Signature
  • Address of the exam center
  • Course applied for
  • Timings for the exam
  • Other important relevant instructions

Discrepancy in DNB CET 2018 Admit Card

When you download your DNB CET 2018 Admit Card, ensure that all the details mentioned on the admit card are correct. Check the personal details carefully. Sometimes, your first name is spelled out wrong, and at times, the last name is wrong. There are probabilities of other inconsistencies as well like as wrong exam center, incorrect course etc. For any mistakes on the Admit Card, they should be reported immediately. For reporting you need to take the following measures:

  • Contact DNB officials or help desk immediately for correction. This can be done in person, through mail or through phone calls.
  • All communications to DNB must comprise of all the relevant information like Name, Application Number, Date of Birth, and Examination Center etc.
  • Explain all the discrepancies and your issue in detail.
  • In case if there is any issue in downloading of Admit Card, you should communicate with the concerned authorities immediately.

Documents Required with DNB CET 2018 Admit Card

Applicants will not be allowed to appear for DNB CET 2018 unless and until they produce DNB CET Admit Card 2018 to the invigilator. It is compulsory for all applicants to paste a recent passport sized photograph on the admit card with the following specifications:

  • The photograph should have at least 75% coverage of face & head of the candidate.
  • Should be a recent photograph.
  • Photograph should be taken in a white/very light coloured background
  • A caption indicating the name of candidate and date of taking the photograph at the bottom of photo.
  • Having full front view of the face while looking directly into the camera with a neutral expression.
  • A photograph with red eyes will not be accepted
  • It must not have bends, marks or stains.
  • The colours must possess the natural appearance and skin tone
  • The photograph needs to be printed on a high-quality paper with at least 600 dpi resolutions

You shall also bring one photo ID proof (driving license/ voter ID /PAN card/Aadhar card or any other govt. ID, a notarized Affidavit with photo) in which the photo of the applicant is attached and clearly visible.

It is compulsory for the applicants to bring a copy of the MCI/SMC registration (permanent/ temporary or provisional) to the test center. This would be taken at the test center by the invigilator and not returned to the applicants. In case, the applicant has cleared his/ her Primary Medical Qualification abroad and does not have SMC/MCI registration, the applicant must bring the original screening test pass certificate issued on NBE letterhead.

Exam Day Instructions

Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination center after 9.30 am for the morning session and 3.15 pm for the afternoon session of the exam.

  • All rough papers will have to be returned to the invigilator after the exam. No applicant should attempt to take the rough papers out of the DNB CET 2018 test center as it will lead to disqualification.
  • Applicants will not be allowed to appear for the DNB CET 2018 exam unless and until they produce the DNB CET Admit Card 2018 to the invigilator.
  • Reach the examination center 30 minutes before the starting of the test.
  • Do not carry with you calculators, mobile phones, pagers, electronic devices, log tables, reference books, notes, bits of paper. All these items are not allowed inside the examination hall.
  • he finger prints of all candidates shall be captured electronically and candidates are requested to cooperate with the on duty staff with this process
  • As a security measure digital image of the reporting candidates shall be captured and taken on record.
  • Candidates are advised to familiarize themselves with the location of test center and plan travel time accordingly.
  • Pencils, eraser and rough paper will be distributed to each candidate. No need to bring stationary /writing material to exam center.
  • Each workstation will be blocked on three sides – front, left and right. Candidates are advised not to look around at other candidates as there will be surveillance cameras that record both audio and video.

No, the details once confirmed cannot be changed.

No, Availability is on a first come, first served basis, and candidates will only be shown options that are available at the point of scheduling.

Question 4. How many times is the exam conducted? Can I appear for both?

It is conducted twice in a year and you can appear only once
