    The month of March is a tiring and worrisome time for all the 12th standard students, isn't it? And why will it not be? This month brings with itself the advent of the much-awaited exam of the year - BOARDS. But while you are busy preparing and appearing for your board exams, it is also important to consider the question - What NEXT? Board exams are just the first step. Beyond this lies the decision of selecting your career option. Will it be the most sought-after engineering field? Or will you follow the path of justice and choose to become a lawyer? You may also be considering a slightly different path like photography, design or a career in nursing.

    Well, if you are looking for these options, your search is definitely over. In comes SET 2018 - the Symbiosis Entrance test. One University, 12 institutes and 17 undergraduate programmes - all through the Symbiosis Entrance Test. Your career aspirations have driven this University which, over the years, has evolved into a place where students transform themselves and become industry ready.

    SET applications form for the year 2018 have already begun. From this year onward, the entrance test has gone online with an option to choose from 85 tests cities. Students get an opportunity to select from a vast number of domains like law, design, engineering, BBA etc. Over all there are 17 UG Programmes to opt for spread across 12 institutes.

    A new avatar for SET 2018  

    The New Year has seen certain revisions in the format of this entrance test. From now on, SET has evolved into 4 different entrance exams - SEED, SIT EEE, SLAT and SET General. Some important pointers to keep in mind are as follows -

    • Mode of Exam: Online
    • Exam Type: Objective
    • Exam Duration - 2 1/2 hours

    Note: These exams would be held in two sessions - one morning, and second afternoon. Also, there is no negative marking in the entrance exams.

    Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED)

    SET Design has now evolved into SEED or Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design. This entrance exam includes the following institute and course -

    Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT)

    From this year onward, SET Law will be known as Symbiosis Law Admission Test or SLAT. This entrance exam gives you access to the following institutes and courses -

    SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SIT EEE)

    SET Engineering is now known as SIT Engineering Entrance Exam or SIT EEE. This entrance exam gives you access to the following institute and course -
