TS EAMCET 2019 or Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Common Entrance Test 2019 is convened by JNTUH (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University), Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). Telangana State EAMCET 2019 is a state-level entrance exam offering admission into various undergraduate programs available at participating universities/private colleges of Andhra Pradesh. Here are some important highlights of TS EAMCET 2019 exam.

The state level examination is conducted for admissions to various Telangana colleges/ universities. Candidates willing to pursue a professional UG degree in engineering or agriculture courses have to appear for the exam.

  • To apply for Pharmacy or Agriculture, they have to appear for PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) subject group.
  • For Engineering program, candidates can only appear for PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) group.

TS EAMCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

All interested aspirants for the program must fulfil the required eligibility norms for TS EAMCET 2019 and the same have been mentioned below.

  • Indian Nationals and/or PIO (Persons of Indian Origin)/OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) Card Holders are eligible to apply.
  • Applicants should belong to Telangana State/Andhra Pradesh and should also meet the local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana/Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974, as subsequently amended.
  • Qualified in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University, with Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry and Biology or Biotechnology as optional subjects.
  • Candidates should have secured at least 45% of marks (40% in case of reserved category candidates) in the qualifying examination.
  • In the case of Engineering and Pharmacy courses, candidates should be 16 years of age as on December 31, 2019. No upper age limit is specified.
  • In the case of specific programs like B. Tech (Dairy Technology), B. Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B. Tech. (FT), B.Sc. (Agriculture/Horticulture), B. F. Sc., and B. V. Sc., candidates should be of minimum 17 years and maximum of 22 years as on December 31, 2019 (25 years in case of SC/ST candidates)

It is mandatory that applicants fulfil all the above-mentioned TS EAMCET Eligibility Criteria 2019 before proceeding towards registration.


TS EAMCET 2019 Application Form

TS EAMCET Application Form 2019 is expected to be available in March 2019 in online mode only at the official website. Candidates can submit the form till April 2019 without late fee. Applicants are advised to fill in complete and correct details on TS EAMCET 2019 Application Form. However, an option of Application Form Correction is also available only for a short time frame.

Applicants can fill TS EAMCET 2019 Application Form by following these steps:

Step 1- TS EAMCET 2019 Application Fee Payment

  • Visit the official website of TS EAMCET i.e. www.eamcet.tsche.ac.in and click on ‘Apply Online’ tab.
  • A window with Registration Fee Payment would appear.
  • Applicants can make payment through:
  1. AP/TS Online/Citizen Service Centers- Candidates will have to enter Hall Ticket number of the Qualifying Examination, Full name, Father’s Name, DOB, Mobile Number, Stream applying in order to proceed with the payment process.
  2. Credit card/Debit card/Net Banking- Complete the payment process as per the instructions on-screen through the integrated payment gateway.

Applicants are advised to preserve the Reference Id. and Transaction Id. generated after successful payment for future reference.

Step 2- Filling TS EAMCET 2019 Application Form

  • Fill in all mandatory details like Qualifying Examination, Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket No., Qualifying Exam Year of Appearing/Passing, Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Stream applied for, Mobile Number, DOB, 10th Standard Hall Ticket No., Local Area Status, Minority Status, Annual Income of Parents, Communication Address etc. in TS EAMCET 2019 Application Form.
  • Candidates also need to choose the preferred regional center for appearing the Test.
  • Scanned copies of recent passport size photo & specimen signature of candidate have to be uploaded to Application Form in .jpg format with the file size not more than 30 KB and 15 KB respectively.
  • Applicants are advised to meticulously verify all details entered in the application form, accept the declaration on-screen and then click ‘Submit’ tab.
  • A unique registration number is generated for future references.
  • Applicants should take a print-out of the filled-in Application Form for the records.

TS EAMCET 2019 Admit Card

TS EAMCET 2019 Admit Card will be available only at the official website of TSCHE tentatively in the last week of April 2019. Admit card is a mandatory document to be presented at the exam center along with a valid photo ID proof. TS EAMCET 2019 Admit Card can be downloaded by following these steps:

  1. Visit TSCHE portal, i.e. www.eamcet.tsche.ac.in
  2. Select the tab ‘EAMCET 2019 Hall Ticket’
  3. Enter your Registration Number, Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth to access the document.
  4. Check all details printed on the Admit Card before obtaining a print.

In case of any incorrect information in terms of Name/DOB/Gender/Category, Test Center Name/Date and Time of examination on TS EAMCET 2019 Admit Card, applicants should get the same corrected by exam officials before the commencement of the exam. Applicants are advised to contact the help desk number available on the website, for any queries or issues regarding the admit card or examination.


TS EAMCET 2019 Exam Pattern

TS EAMCET Exam Pattern 2019 is prescribed by Telangana State Council of Higher Education or TSCHE. The exam is conducted separately for Engineering and Medical & Agriculture Programs. TS EAMCET 2019 will be conducted offline, in OMR Response Sheets. The paper is split into 3 sections namelyPhysics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Botany& Zoology. The questions are objective in nature. Both the engineering and agriculture papers pose 160 questions in total.

The examination is of 3 hours (180 minutes) duration and medium of the examination is English and Telugu. Every correct answer is awarded 1 mark however, there is no provision of negative marking in TS EAMCET 2019. Candidates having qualifying examination in Urdu mediumcan avail assistance for translating the questions into Urdu.

TS EAMCET 2019 Result

TS EAMCET 2019 Result will be announced by the exam conducting authority, on the official website www.eamcet.tsche.ac.in, tentatively in May 2019. Examinees can access their scores by entering their login credentials on the website. A print out of the scorecard needs to be taken for Counselling and subsequent Admission purpose in future.

A merit list will also be made available on the website post-declaration of Results, listing the names of candidates who are eligible for the subsequent counselling rounds of TS EAMCET 2019 in order of ranks secured by them in the respective stream.

Applicants can access their OMR response Sheets till 6 months from the date of result declaration. The steps involved in the viewing and downloading TS EAMCET 2019 Result are:

  1. Visit the official website, i.e. www.eamcet.tsche.ac.in
  2. Click on the ‘Result’ tab
  3. Enter Registration Number, Admit Card Number and captcha as displayed
  4. Select the ‘View Result’ button to access TS EAMCET 2019 Result.
  5. The result will be available in the form of scorecard
  6. Download TS EAMCET 2019 scorecard and obtain a print for future use

TS EAMCET 2019 Cut Off

TS EAMCET 2019 Cut Off Score is the minimum marks required to be scored by an applicant to be eligible for the TS EAMCET 2019 Counselling and thereafter the admission process. There are a number of factors responsible for deciding the cut-off score like the number of examinees, difficulty level of exam, marking scheme, total seats available as well as applicant category. The Merit List of TS EAMCET 2019 is affected by the cut-off score.

A minimum of 25% marks is required to qualify in EAMCET Telangana. As per the authorities, the cut off for admissions is based on the following factors:

  • Number of Registrations
  • Number of seats available
  • Difficulty level of exam
  • Popularity or demand of the course

TS EAMCET 2019 Counselling

TS EAMCET 2019 Counselling will commence soon after the declaration of results. The counselling and seat allotment is completely an online process completed through the helpline centers. On the basis of the Rank/Merit list released by JNTU, Hyderabad, applicants can appear for the counselling sessions, the details of which are available on the official website. The steps involved in the Counselling process are:
