NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
DU JAT 2019 (Delhi University Joint Admission Test) was conducted on July 6, 2019 by National Testing Agency for granting admission to students in Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelors in Business Economics (BBE) and Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) programs offered by colleges affiliated to Delhi University.
DU JAT 2019 consisted of 4 sections i.e. General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness. The questions were arranged in a random order. No sectional order could be seen in the exam. A timer was set on the screen so that the candidates could keep track of time. Candidates were also allowed to use scientific calculator and check exam status through the side panel of the screen.

As per the selection criteria, 65% weightage will be given to DU JAT and 35% weightage will be given to class 12th marks. Check DU JAT Cutoff
DU JAT 2019 consisted of 100 questions. 4 marks is given for each correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.

This section primarily focuses on Current Affairs. Questions based on personalities like Geeta Gopinth , Swatch Sarwekshan , Minister for Small and Micro Enterprises ministry etc. were quite easy. This year, questions from static GK outnumbered questions based on Current Affairs.
Students found General Awareness section moderate. One needs to be thorough with facts and daily headlines to crack this section.

The topics included in this section were Spelling, Antonyms, Fill in the blanks, Idioms and Grammar. Candidates found this year’s English section doable. Since there was only a single reading comprehension, students got enough time to work through other sections. Vocabulary questions were comparatively easy while questions based on idioms and phrases were bit tricky.

Questions based on reasoning were easy. Students felt most comfortable attempting this section. This section was divided into two parts which were of moderate level but a bit time consuming.

The difficulty level of this quantitative aptitude section was moderate. Most of the questions were from class XI and XII.
