STATE LEVEL ONLINE TEST
MAH MCA CET Result is declared by DTE Maharashtra on March 27, 2017. Candidates can check result on the official website by providing their Application ID and Password. The entrance exam was conducted on March 19, 2017. A good score in MAH MCA CET will ensure the selection of candidates for further stages of the admission process. They will be shortlisted CAP (centralized admission process) on the basis of their score. Candidates who have obtained more than or equal to qualifying marks will only be considered for admission process. The declaration of result is followed by document verification, updating of application form etc. Thereafter, the documents will be verified and the merit list will be announced. If two candidates secure the same marks then tie-break would be done on the basis of age.
MAH MCA CET is conducted for admissions to first year and second year (lateral entry) in MCA course in the state of Maharashtra. It is a state level entrance examination conducted by DTE Maharashtra.

MAH MCA CET Score Card shows the marks secured by candidates in each section. It is the record of marks a candidate obtained in the entrance examination and the rank they hold. It contains the rank of the candidate and category status. The marks in entrance test are considered for admission during the academic year only. The validity of the score card is one year. The provisional merit list for Maharashtra candidates, J & K migrants and OMS (Outside Maharashtra State) candidates will be displayed on the official website as per schedule. The score card will be sent to the permanent address of the candidate by speed post within 15 days after the declaration of result. If any candidate loses their score card, the duplicate score card will be issued on payment of fee INR 200 through institute where the candidate has taken the admission.
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in MAH CET. This score will be considered for granting admission. Candidates must note that the merit list will only give the relative position obtained by the candidates and it doesn’t guarantee admission. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their rank in MAH CET MCA for admissions to their desired institute. DTE Maharashtra will declare merit list in two stages:
Provisional Merit List- It is generally declared immediately after the end of the MAH CET 2017 Counselling.
Final Merit List- The final merit list is declared after considering the results of the MAH CET Counselling correctly. It depicts the list of candidates finally shortlisted for admissions to the applied college.
How are the scores calculated?
MAH CET Score will be calculated after following the mentioned below process:
Tie breaker round is considered for the generation of the merit list in case the candidates score equal marks and percentile. The merit list is generated by calculation of percentile among the candidates aspiring for the Maharashtra State Seats and for the All India Seats and J&K Migrant Seats. The following order of preference is considered while preparation of merit list during a tie-breaker:
There are three rounds of counselling in Centralized Admission Process. In first two rounds of CAP, centralized allotment will be done for eligible candidates from both Maharashtra state and outside the state. All the eligible candidates are required to fill the online option form. The final round of the Centralized Admission Process is conducted only for Maharashtra State candidates. There is a reservation of 15% for NRI category or Foreign Nationals. Last year, a total of 129 colleges were allotted through first and second round of counselling.
It is mandatory for candidates to fill the online option form through their login credentials or on the official website in order to participate in Centralized Admission Process. Candidates will not be able to change the options once it is confirmed. They should not disclose their application id and password to others to avoid impersonation. DTE Maharashtra will not be responsible for submissions done by others on the behalf of candidate. Every institute offering management courses has been allotted a choice code number which is given in the information brochure.
