STATE LEVEL ONLINE TEST
The counselling for MH CET Law 2016for admissions to LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) courses commenced from September 12, 2016. The conducting authority of the exam, the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Maharashtra is conducting the counselling through online mode. The DHE, Maharashtra, is conducting the online counselling through a single procedure, the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The MH CET Law Merit List has been announced and the candidates can refer the same on the official website of DHE.
For the counselling, the students who are seeking admissions to both three – year LL.B. and five - year integrated LL.B. courses can register themselves on the official website. Each student will be allotted a seat in the respective institutions as per the MH CET Law Merit List. The Final MH CET Law Merit List was published by the DHE, Maharashtra on August 23, 2016.
DHE, Maharashtra declared MH CET Law Results on June 30, 2016 on their official website. The result was announced for both three year and five year undergraduate law courses. Students who took the MH CET Law Exam can check their results and download their score cards through the official website.
Students are required to register for Online CAP of MH CET Law 2016 for the allotment of seats. The seats will be allocated as per the preferences filled by the candidate and the MH CET Law Merit List.
MH CET Law 2016 was held on June 18 and 19, 2016 for five - year integrated LL.B. and three - year LL.B. courses respectively.
Below are the important dates of the admission process of the MH CET Law 2016.

The first round of seat allotment was held on September 12, 2016 and the second round was conducted on September 22, 2016. Along with this, the MH CET Law Merit List for NRI (Non-Resident Indian), OCI (Overseas Citizenship of India) and PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) candidates was released on September 22, 2016.
The third and the fourth round of counselling is scheduled to be held on September 30, 2016 and October 14, 2016. The admissions will strictly be done on the basis of the MH CET Law Merit List which has been published by the DHE. After the completion of all the rounds of counselling, the colleges will release Merit Lists on October 26, 2016 for the candidates’ perusal.
If a candidate has been allotted a seat then he or she has to download the ‘Provisional Seat Allotment Letter’. Students have to draw a demand draft in favour of Competent Authority and deposit it at the admission reporting centre at the time of seat acceptance.
After verification of documents the centre in-charge will give the online receipt of acceptance to the candidate.
After deducting INR 1000 for counselling, rest of the money will be sent to the institution where the candidate has got the admission in. This money will be adjusted in the candidate’s tuition fee of that particular institution. In case of cancellation of admission, after deduction of INR 1000 as processing charges, rest of the money will be returned to the candidate.

The MH CET Law or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law programmes is an online state level exam for Maharashtra. It is conducted by DHE, Maharashtra every year and the participating institutes include each Government Law College in Maharashtra. The MH CET Law exam can be taken by aspiring candidates who wish to take admission to undergraduate law courses. It is a single doorway for both three and five year (integrated) undergraduate law courses.
