U.P medical aspirants has to wait no more for the UG medical and dental results, as KGMU (The King George's Medical University), Lucknow are out with NEET merit list/ cut off marks. The candidate is required to visit the official website to check the NEET score. This score will considered for all the private and government MBBS and BDScolleges affiliated to KGMU, Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh). Medical aspirants who will stand qualified in the merit list will be able to appear for the NEET counselling and NEET seat allotment.

Steps to download KGMU NEET Merit List

Medical aspirants who are aspiring for medical and dental admissions, must check the process of how to download NEET merit list, which are mentioned below:

1. Candidate is required to visit the official website of KGMU.

2. Then he/she must click on KGMU NEET merit list, pop out.

3. Third step requires the candidate to enter the registration number and date of birth.

4. After entering the above mentioned details, applicant must click on 'SUMBIT' button to get the desired results.

5. Take the printout of the results by downloading it. Candidates are advised to keep a printout with themselves for future use.

Steps to Register for NEET Counselling

Aspirants who has been declared eligible through UP NEET Merit list for the counselling, is required to follow the below mentioned steps for NEET Counselling Registration:

Step1.  Firstly, candidate is required to visit the MCC website and click on “New Registration” link.

Step 2. Next, applicant needs to enter the important personal details on the web page displayed after clicking the link. The details includes the following:

  1. Roll Number
  2. Application Number
  3. Candidate’s Name
  4. Date of birth

Please Note: All the details should be as per the details given during the NEET application form procedure.

Step 3. Another step requires a candidate to choose a security password. This password must be remembered by the candidate until the completion of the Online Allotment Admission Process.

Step 4. The password policy must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Password must be 8-13 characters long.
  • Password must contain at least:
  • One capital letter (A-Z)
  • One small letter (a-z)
  • One numeric (0-9)
  • One special character (@#$ %)

Step 5. Once your password is generated, the candidate is required to press the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 6. Then, the candidate will be required to enter the code received through the One Time Password (OTP) to complete the NEET counselling process. This OTP will be sent to the candidate on their registered mobile number.

Step 7. Then, the candidate will have to click on a Candidate Agreement to complete the registration process.

When all the above steps are completed, candidate has to confirm their registration by clicking on the “Confirm Registration” button. After candidate will confirm registration, a registration slip will be generated.

Please Note: Candidate must take a print of the registration slip for future use and reference.

Important Documents for NEET Counseling

Submission of relevant documents are necessary to continue with NEET counselling process, without submission of important documents the counselling process won’t be completed. All the successful applicants are required to carry the following document at the time of the NEET counselling.

  • 10th and 12th class Mark sheets.
  • 10th and 12th class Passing Certificate.
  • Birth Certificate.
  • Rank Card of NEET 2016
  • Two Passport Sizes photograph similar to that pasted on the NEET Application Form.
  • Caste Certificate (If applicable)
  • PWD Certificate (If applicable)
  • Counselling Letter issued by NEET Authority.

NEET Seat Allotment

Each qualifying candidate will be allotted seat on the basis of merit list. To give you a clear idea on NEET seat allotment process, we have listed some pointers, which should be taken into consideration at the time of counselling:

  • The first step requires you to get yourself registered on the counselling website. The next step require candidates to fill their personal details in order successfully register themselves on the website.
  • Another step involves exercising of Choices, indicative seats and Locking of choices.
  • Online Seat Allotment (Round 1)
  • Declaration of Result (Round 1)
  • Reporting at the allotted Medical/Dental College for candidates qualifying in the 1st Round of counselling.
  • After the completion of Round 1 of counselling, the details vacant seats will be displayed.
  • The candidates who are eligible for the Round 2 of counselling can then fill in fresh Choices.
  • Seat allotment (Round 2)
  • Declaration of Result (Round 2)
  • Reporting at the Medical / Dental Colleges /Institutions for candidates qualifying Round 2
