National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a gateway for aspiring doctors to get admissions to the MBBS and BDS courses starting from 2016. It is conducted all over India for candidates aspiring to get admissions in the field of Medicine and Dentistry. Earlier, instead of the NEET Exam, every year AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test) was conducted for admissions to the same courses. However, after much discussion, the Honourable Supreme Court had rules that NEET will be the only exam for admissions to various Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges.
