NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
NEET Cutoff is the least marks required by the candidates to qualify NEET. So that they are eligible for the NEET counselling. NEET Cutoff will be declared by the CBSE after the declaration of NEET Result. The Cutoff released will be different for different categories.
CBSE will also prepare a merit list based on marks scored by the candidates in the exam and reservation criteria. Candidates who score marks equal to or above the NEET Cutoff marks will only be considered for merit list preparation.
After much hustle on NEET issue, the entrance exam took place on May 06, 2018 which was conducted by C.B.S.E (Central Board of Secondary Examination). Now, the students are anxiously awaiting NEET 2018 Results which will be announced on June 05, 2018. They can check the results by visiting the official website.
NEET, which is also called National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, is a highly competitive examination where lakhs of Medical students from India compete to get the admission in top notch Medical institutes and Dental colleges.
We have simplified and defined NEET Cutoff process for those candidates who have some confusion regarding this in their mind. The Cutoff lists are the score card for minimum number which an aspirant has to obtain in order to pass the entrance exam.
NEET 2018 Cutoff will depend on following determinants:
1. Total number of candidates appeared for NEET 2018
2. The level of difficulty of Question paper
3. Total number of seats available
4. Total number of NEET 2016 aspirants who have passed the exam
NEET cutoff will be determined based on the number of seats available, number of participants, and difficulty level of the exam. On the basis of the cutoff marks, CBSE will prepare the merit list of qualified candidates and conduct the counselling process. It must be noted that the marks will be calculated using the percentile method, which means that CBSE will consider the highest marks scored in NEET will preparing the scorecard.
Here we have prepared the expected qualifying marks for NEET based on the past year record of cutoff marks. The cutoff for physically handicapped candidates in the unreserved category will be different from those in reserved category.

There are 15,000 seats in total and in order to attain a ranking in NEET 2016, an aspirant has to score minimum 98.5 percentile for the unreserved category. Due to the decision of Supreme Court of ordering NEET 2016 as the only examination to be accepted as a selection criteria for all medical colleges in India, the number of seats has been reduced. This will have a negative effect on the NEET 2016 Cutoff scores. However,the Top most colleges will have higher cut-off.Candidate will have to meet a challenging cut-off due to this impact.
The final cut-off for NEET 2016 will be released soon by the official sources, till then we can aid you by providing previous year cut-off i.e. AIPMT 2015 Cutoff.This will help you in getting a subtle idea on how to calculate your ranking.
