How to get admission in Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal?

Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, a very successful institution in the field of medical education offers education in the form of undergraduate, postgraduate and paramedical courses under the recognition of Medical Council of India (MCI). Admission seekers have to qualify NEET 2018 Cut Off for MBBS to get an undergraduate degree from here. The college gives admission to 140 students every year to MBBS course subject to the fulfillment of eligibility. NEET cut of is released after declaration of NEET Result 2018.

Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal Admission Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria to take admission to MBBS course in this college:

  • Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian Citizen or Overseas Citizen of India.
  • Age Limit: Candidate must be of minimum 17 years of age at the time of admission on or before December 31, 2017. The upper age limit for admission seekers under All India Quota is 25 years. There is a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
  • Essential Academic Qualification: Candidates who have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology securing a minimum of 50% at plus 2 level. For reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) candidates, a minimum of 40% in HSC is required. Physically handicapped candidates should have 45% at plus 2 level. Aspirants who are appearing in 10+2 examination in 2018 may also appear provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later on.

If two or more candidates have equal score in the exam, preference will be given to

  • Candidate having higher marks in Biology in NEET 2018.
  • Candidate having higher marks in Chemistry in NEET 2018.
  • Candidate older in age.

Candidate successfully fulfilling all the criteria for eligibility and is also on the merit list provided by MCC has to contact the college for further admission related formalities. The admission process includes the verification of the criteria and qualifying standards.
