Candidates seeking admission to GMC, Kozhikode shall clear NEET 2017 exam. After the declaration of NEET 2017 result, candidates need to appear for NEET 2017 counselling for the seat allotment in the college.
NEET 2017 Counselling
NEET 2017 counselling will be conducted by Medical Council Committee. For 15% All India Quota seats, there will be centralised counselling for candidates falling under AI Quota.
There will be separate counselling for states participating in NEE 2017 for 85% Quota Seats.
Documents Required for NEET 2017 Counselling Process
Applicants are required to carry the following document at the time of the NEET 2017 counselling.
- 10th and 12th class Mark sheets.
- 10th and 12th class Passing Certificate.
- Birth Certificate.
- Rank Card of NEET 2017
- Two Passport Sizes photograph similar to that affixed on the NEET 2017 Application Form.
- Caste Certificate (If applicable)
- PWD Certificate (If applicable)
- Counselling Letter issued by NEET Authority.
GMC, Calicut Admission Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to grab a seat in one of the prestigious and oldest medical college of Maharashtra, one has to fulfill the mentioned criteria. Meanwhile Candidates should know about the eligibility criteria
- Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen or Overseas Citizen of India.
- Age Limit: Candidate must be of minimum 17 years of age at the time of admission on or before December 31st,2017. The upper age limit for admission seekers under All India Quota is 25 years relaxable for a period of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
- Essential Academic Qualification: The candidates who have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology individually securing a minimum of 50% in 10+2 is eligible. For reserved category (SC/ST/OBC), there is a relaxation of 10% so they have to secure a minimum of 40% to be eligible. General physically handicapped candidates have to secure a minimum of 45%. Aspirants who are appearing in 10+2 examination in 2017 may also appear provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later on.
