Admission to Government Medical College, Thrissur is done on the basis of NEET 2017. Candidates have to clear the cut off for the college. After that they have to register themselves for NEET 2017 counselling

NEET 2017 Counselling

Medical Council Committee will conduct NEET 2017 counselling. For 15% All India Quota seats, there will be centralised counselling for candidates falling under AI Quota.

There will be separate counselling for states participating in NEE 2017 for 85% Quota Seats.

Documents Required for NEET 2017 Counselling Process

Applicants are required to carry the following document at the time of the NEET 2017 counselling.

GMC, Thrissur Admission Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to grab a seat in one of the prestigious and oldest medical college of Maharashtra, one has to fulfill the mentioned criteria. Meanwhile Candidates should know about the eligibility criteria

  • Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen or Overseas Citizen of India.
  • Age Limit: Candidate must be of minimum 17 years of age at the time of admission on or before December 31,2017. The upper age limit for admission seekers under All India Quota is 25 years relaxable for a period of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
  • Essential Academic Qualification: The candidates who have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology individually securing a minimum of 50% in 10+2 is eligible. For reserved category (SC/ST/OBC), there is a relaxation of 10% so they have to secure a minimum of 40% to be eligible. General physically handicapped candidates have to secure a minimum of 45%. Aspirants who are appearing in 10+2 examination in 2017 may also appear provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later on.
