How to Get Admission in Grant Medical College Mumbai?

The fees of the institution have to be paid in the form of Demand Draft (DD). The DD should be in the favor of “Dean, Grant Govt. Medical College.Mumbai”.

If two or more candidates have equal score in the exam, preference will be given to

  • Candidate having higher marks in Biology/Biotechnology in NEET UG-2019.
  • Candidate having higher marks in Chemistry in NEET UG-2019.
  • Candidate older in age.

Grant Medical College Admission Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to secure a seat in one of the prestigious and oldest medical college of Maharashtra, one has to fulfill the mentioned criteria.

  • Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian Citizen or Overseas Citizen of India.
  • Age Limit: Candidate must be of minimum 17 years of age at the time of admission on or before December 31, 2019. The upper age limit for admission seekers under All India Quota is 25 years relaxable for a period of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
  • Essential Academic Qualification: The candidates who have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology individually securing a minimum of 50% in 10+2 is eligible. For reserved category (SC/ST/OBC), there is a relaxation of 10% so they have to secure a minimum of 40% to be eligible. General physically handicapped candidates have to secure a minimum of 45%. Aspirants who are appearing in 10+2 examination in 2019 may also appear provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later on.
