NEET 2017 Cut Off for Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Ajmer

J.L.N. Medical College,  Ajmer offers admission to aspiring students to pursue MBBS course strictly on the basis of NEET. In 2016, NEET has replaced all state and national level exams. Thus, NEET 2017 is the only basis to get admission to this college for the upcoming academic session. This year the exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 07, 2017.

How to Get Admission in Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Ajmer?

Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College enrols students on the basis of NEET 2017 Cut Off. The college has an annual intake of 100 students for MBBS course purely on the basis of the rank secured in NEET 2017. Candidates making their way to the merit list subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria will be offered admission.

JLN Medical College, Ajmer Admission Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian Citizen or Overseas Citizen of India.
  • Age Limit: Candidate must be of minimum 17 years of age at the time of admission on or before December 31, 2017. The upper age limit for admission seekers under All India Quota is 25 years relaxable for a period of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
  • Essential Academic Qualification: Candidates who have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology securing a minimum of 50% in 10+2 are eligible. For reserved category (SC/ST/OBC), there is a relaxation of 10%. Physically handicapped candidates have to secure a minimum of 45%. Aspirants who are appearing in 10+2 examination in 2017 may also appear provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later on.

If two or more candidates have equal score in NEET 2017, preference will be given to

  • Candidate having higher marks in Biology/Biotechnology in NEET 2017.
  • Candidate having higher marks in Chemistry in NEET 2017.
  • Candidate older in age.

The successful candidates are required to carry NEET 2017 Admit card and NEET 2017 Scorecard with all the necessary certificates including passing certificates and mark sheets for 10th and plus 2 level. Candidates seeking admission under caste and domicile quota have to produce applicable certificates at the time of admission in the prescribed format.

A brief About the Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College

JLN Medical College was founded in Ajmer in the year 1965. It is one of the seven government medical colleges in Rajasthan offering MBBS and MS/MD degrees along with diploma in medical education. The college is affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Sciences(RUHS) and Medical Council of India(MCI). The college gives admission to 100 MBBS seats on the basis of NEET only. College is attached to four hospitals, namely:
