NEET 2018: CBSE Opens Form Correction window from March 15

NEET 2018 Application Form Correction facility will be started from March 15 – 17, 2018. The Board will provide ONE TIME CORRECTION OPPORTUNITY at the official website i.e. cbseneet.nic.in to the candidates only in the data which may affect the merit. The correction will not be allowed in examination centre city and Language of Question Paper. NEET 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on May 6.

  • Candidates can fill NEET 2018 Application Form till March 12, 2018.
  • Now adhaar card is not mandatory to fill the NEET application form.
  • The board has been provided the one-time correction opportunity in the field of Date of Birth, State Code of Eligibility, Gender, Category, and Disability Status. Check NEET Official Notification
  • Due to correction in Category, if the additional fee will be payable, the same will be remitted through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking during the given period only. 
  • If Uploaded scanned images of photograph & signature is not in prescribed format. Then, Candidates will have to re-upload these documents by log into the application portal in given time frame.
  • Candidates are requested to be very careful while making corrections as no second opportunity will be made available for corrections.
  • The conducting body has increased NEET Exam Cities from 84 cities in 2017 to 150 in 2018.

NEET Application Form Correction 2018

Candidates often make mistake while filling NEET Application Form either because of inexperience or confusion. Therefore, to ensure that the data of NEET UG is submitted correctly, the Board provides a form correction facility to make edits in the form.

The official notice for NEET 2018 Form Correction will be released after the registration window closes. Visit the official site i.e. cbseneet.nic.in and make corrections in the information. Read NEET Application Form Correction Notice

  • No further opportunities would be given to candidates for making corrections. Therefore, candidates must edit the form details carefully and thoroughly check the details before making it final draft.
  • Candidates can edit their personal information such as Name, Date of Birth, Gender, State Code of Eligibility, Category, Disability Status, Medium and Examination Center.
  • In case candidates are required to pay additional fee after making changes in the form, then they must remit the balance fee before the closure NEET Application Form Correction window.
  • Additional fee can be remitted either through credit card/ debit card or net banking.

Corrections in NEET Application Form

The form correction facility is just a one-time facility so you need to be very careful while making the corrections. Here we are providing you with the list of details that you can make changes in your application form:

Correction in any other data is not allowed as this will not affect the candidature and the merit. Candidates should be careful while making corrections as no second chance would be given to them.

After making corrections, candidates have to print correction slip and retain the same for the reference and record. No correspondence will be made by CBSE in this regard. Due to correction in category and disability status, if additional fee is payable, the same has to be remitted through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking during the given period only.
