Mizoram MBBS 2018 Admissions through NEET 2018 is conducted by the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Mizoram. The procedure is based on the state merit list released by CBSE, which is the conducting authority of NEET 2018.

NEET 2018 was held on May 6, 2018 in offline mode and the result for same was declared on June 4, 2018 on the official website of CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). After the declaration of NEET result, all the participating institute release their cut off list. The cut off is varied for each category.

Admissions into these medical colleges generally start after the declaration of the NEET Result. The Mizoram MBBS admission process will start tentatively in July 2018. Candidates can check out the dates given below for reference:

Admissions for MBBS course in participating institutes in Mizoram through NEET 2018 is done by 3 rounds of counselling. In these 3 rounds of counselling, the various seats available across institutes are allotted to applicants on the basis of their performance in NEET 2018 and choices submitted.
Two weeks after NEET 2018 results are declared in the official website i.e. www.cbseneet.nic.in, two merit lists are prepared on the basis of marks scored by candidates in NEET 2018.
In the event of candidates obtaining the same score, the following tie break steps are implemented (in that order) until the tie is resolved.
Based on the position of candidates in the state merit list and choices filled by candidates, seats are allotted. Candidates must report to the institute mentioned, along with all the required documents, to complete the admission process.
Candidates who are not satisfied with seats allotted to them or who have not been allotted seats at all can apply for subsequent rounds of counselling. Based on vacancies of seats in participating institutes, up to 3 rounds of counselling are conducted.
Candidates must make sure they carry the following documents along with three sets of photocopies at the time of counselling for proper conduct of verification and other processes.
Taking cut offs of last year into consideration, candidates can get an idea about the cut off that needs to be cleared.
Cut off depends on various factors such as number of candidates who have given the exam, number of seats available and difficulty level of entrance examination.
