NEET 2019 Application Form

NEET 2019 Application Form will be available from January 2019 onwards. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is a national level medical entrance Examination conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) for admission into BDS and MBBS in India. 

  • NEET Eligibility 2019 is to qualify 10+2 exam conducted by CBSE or any recognized board.
  • Candidates can apply for NEET 2019 “Online” only. No offline application will be accepted.
  • CBSE will release the form online at
  • Maximum of 3 attempts are allowed for each candidate to appear for NEET.
  • Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.
  • The examination fee deposited will not be refunded in such cases.
  •  Applications of candidates submitting false and fabricated information will not be considered and such candidates will be further debarred from appearing in examinations conducted by the CBSE

NEET 2019 Eligibility

The eligibility criteria as stated by CBSE is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 examination. The other required specifications are as follows:


  • Candidate must be 17 years old at the time of admission or before 31st December of the year of admission.
  • The upper age limit for NEET is 25 years as on the date of examination. Relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST category is present.

Number of Attempts

  • The number of attempts which each candidate can avail at NEET examination is 3.


  • Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Oversees Citizen of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) & Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear in NEET (UG).
  • The candidate should pass the 10+2 exam from recognized board with 50% marks.

How to Fill NEET 2019 Application Form?

NEET 2019 Application Form can be filled by performing some basic steps such as Registration and Filling Application form, Uploading Documents and Fee Payment.

Step1- Apply Online

  • Visit NEET official website i.e.
  • Click on “New Registration” link.
  • Read the instructions carefully and click on “Proceed to Apply online NEET (UG), 2019” link provided.
  • You will be redirected to New Registration window.
  • Enter all the details asked.
  • Click on “Submit" button.
  • After clicking on Next Button, the information submitted by the candidate will be displayed on the screen. If information correct, click on “Final Submit” button, otherwise click BACK button
  • Candidates will be redirected to a new window to create their registration password and set a security question for their account. They also have to enter the OTP sent to their registered phone number. Security Question is important for candidates in case they forget their login password.
  • Click on FINAL SUBMIT
  • Candidates will receive a Registration number after successfully completing the online registration. Note it down

Step 2: Upload Scanned Images

  1. Upload Scanned Images by clicking “Choose File” option.
  2. Select the images of signature and photograph.
  3. Click on “Next” button. The preview of images will appear.
  4. Click on “Upload” button to upload images.

Step 3: Application fee payment

  • Candidate can pay the Application Fee in online mode only. There are 4 online payment gateways: UPI App, Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking.
  • Select one suitable method. Go through the application fee charges carefully, before proceeding to make the payment.

Step 4: Print Confirmation page

  • After finishing the fee payment process, candidates can take the printout of application form.
  • Take at least four printouts of the confirmation page.

NEET 2019 Application Form Correction

Post successful completion of the Application forms, CBSE will provide form correction window for candidates who have some errors in their application forms. However, only some details can be corrected or edited which includes state of eligibility, category, disability status, medium, examination centre.

NEET 2019 FAQs

Ques. If a candidate is opting vernacular language as medium of question paper, in which language candidate will be provided Test Booklet?

Ans. Candidates opting for vernacular languages would be provided Bilingual Test Booklet i.e. in selected language and in English. In case of any ambiguity in translation of any of the questions, its English version shall be treated as final.

Ques. Can a candidate change the exam centre city after allotment of roll number?

Ans. In no case, centre city can be changed.

Ques. Can anyone cancel the application submitted for NEET UG?

Ans. Online Application forms once submitted successfully cannot be cancelled/ withdrawn.

Ques. What do the candidates need to bring to the exam centre?

Ans. The candidate is required to bring following at the examination centre:

  • Admit Card along with passport size photograph affixed on it;
  • One Post Card Size Photograph affixed on the proforma and
  • One passport size photograph to be affixed on attendance sheet.

Ques. How can I retrieve my NEET Password?

Ans. Steps to retrieve your password:

  • Visiting the official website and click on ‘Candidate Login’ link.
  • Click on the link- “Forgot Password?” 
  • Under registered User Sign In option, “Click on Forgot Password?” option
  • This will direct you to password regeneration page. 
  • You can reset your password through two methods, either through OTP or using the answer provided for Security Question during the registration process.
