NEET Cut Off 2018 for BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur

BRD (Baba Raghav Das) Medical College, Gorakhpur is operative since 1972. It offers 100 seats for MBBS program every year. This college admits candidates based on NEET exam.

NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a national level medical entrance test for admission into MCI approved MBBS/ BDS programs at various Medical Colleges in India. NEET 2018 will be held on May 6, 2018. The result is expected to be out on June 5, 2018. NEET has replaced AIPMT and all other state-level medical entrance tests since 2016.

BRD Medical College MBBS Admissions 2017

BRD Medical College is recognized by Medical Council of India and affiliated to Deen Dyal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University.  The college is offering admissions to MMBS program through NEET. To be eligible to grab a seat in BRD Medical College Gorakhpur, candidate has to fulfill the mentioned criteria.

  • Candidate must be an Indian Citizen or Overseas Citizen of India. They must be of minimum 17 years of age at the time of admission on or before December 31, 2017. The upper age limit for admission seekers under All India Quota is 25 years for a period of 5 years for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates.
  • Candidates who have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology individually securing a minimum of 50% in 10+2 are eligible. For reserved category (SC/ST/OBC), there is a relaxation of 10% so they have to secure a minimum of 40% to be eligible. General physically handicapped candidates have to secure a minimum of 45%. Those candidates who are appearing in 10+2 examination in 2018 may also appear provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later on.

If two or more candidates have an equal score in the exam, preference will be given to the candidate having higher marks in Biology/Biotechnology in NEET 2018 or higher marks in Chemistry in NEET 2018 or candidate older in age.
