The candidates can only make corrections in a few fields like Date of Birth, Category, and Status of Persons with Disability. This would be the last time that CBSE is allowing the students to make corrections before the final declaration of results. Candidates should use this last chance to make relevant corrections as no more changes will be allowed once the results are declared for NEET 2018. These corrections have to be made before 5 pm on May 18, 2018 as the link for corrections will stop functioning after that.
The answer key for the examination will soon be declared by CBSE. There are some coaching centers which have released their own answer keys and the candidates can refer to these as well to calculate their approximate scores.
The notice released at cbseneet.nic.in states that they have received several requests by the candidates for making different corrections in the Date of birth, category or status of Persons with disability.
Even though there were clear instructions given to the students regarding the submission of correct data in the application form that they submit, there have been mistakes in the forms and the candidates wish to correct that. Based on these requests, they were given a chance to make these corrections.
The application forms were only submitted after proper verification process. However, due to continuous requests, CBSE is allowing the candidates to make changes in the above mentioned fields once more before result declaration. They will need to pay an additional fee for corrections in each field, if applicable. In any case, no fee will be refunded by CBSE. These corrections will be the responsibility of the candidates solely. Check NEET Form Filling Instructions
