SMS College Jaipur NEET Cut Off 2018

SMS College Jaipur offers admission to both the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. NEET is conducted by CBSE to get admission to MBBS or BDS programs.

Cut off is decided on the basis of various factors such as previous year cut off trends, the total number of students appearing in the examination, the difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates passed in the exam etc. On the basis of students score in the NEET 2018 examination merit list is prepared. 85% of seats are filled by Rajasthan Domicile candidates.

Selection of the students is done on the basis of their rank in the merit list. Final selection of the student is done after the counselling. They are required to bring all the documents along with them at the time of counselling for verification. For appearing in the NEET examination, students must have cleared 10+2 in science with minimum 50% marks.

How to get admission in SMS College, Jaipur?

Admission to SMS College is done on the basis of marks obtained by students in NEET. They have to score more than the cut off marks. By checking the previous year cut off marks students can get an idea about how much they need to score in the exam.

SMS Admission Eligibility Criteria

NEET is conducted at 104 examination centres across India. This examination is conducted every year in the month of May. It is a pen and paper-based exam. Every year around 4.7 lakh candidates appear for the NEET examination. Different courses have different eligibility criteria which are explained below:


  • Students must pass 10+2 examination with minimum 50% marks in the subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • They should also have valid NEET scores

Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS)

  • Students must pass 10+2 examination or equivalent examination with science subjects from recognized university/ institute.


  • Students must have passed MBBS or BDS with compulsory examination
  • Applicants must have passed B.V.Sc & A.H or B.Sc (Biology) Chemistry, Zoology or B.Sc Biotechnology/ Microbiology with minimum 60% marks in the first attempt.


  • Students must have passed MD/ MS in relevant discipline from any recognized university/ institutes.

MS/ MD/ Diploma

  • Students must possess graduation and bachelor’s degree in Medicine from any recognised university

Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch)

  • Students must have passed MD/ MS in relevant discipline from any recognized university or institute.

SMS College came into existence in the year 1947. It is one of the oldest colleges in Rajasthan and Premier medical colleges in India. The college has total 32 departments and eight hospitals attached to it. The college is recognised by Medical Council of India and affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Sciences.
