NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) has successfully conducted AIIMS MBBS on May 26 and 27 in online mode. The examination was held in 155 cities across India. The difficulty level of the paper was moderate to difficult.
Candidates who appeared for AIIMS MBBS 2018 are informed that official AIIMS MBBS Answer Key is available at official website. After the release of answer keys, the results will be declared on June 18 at aiimsexams.org.

The exam was conducted in two shifts-morning and afternoon. Majority of candidates said that the-
AIIMS MBBS 2018 Answer Key will be accessible online after the exam. The answer key will be available for Chemistry, Physics, General knowledge and Biology. With the help of the keys, students can calculate an estimated score in the exam.

Candidates can even challenge the answer key if they find any discrepancy. The challenges against the answer key will be referred to the exam board committees constituted by AIIMS. They can send their objection/ suggestion to the department of AIIMS with the correct format and all relevant documents for the proof.
The complete details about sending the objection/ suggestion against the answer key have not been released by the AIIMS. Therefore, as soon as the answer key gets released, the information regarding the same will also be updated on this page.
AIIMS MBBS consisted of questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge that were to be completed in 3 hours 30 minutes. AIIMS MBBS has 60 questions in all. As for the marking scheme, 1 mark will be given for each correct answer and 1/3 (one-third) marks will be deducted for an incorrect answer.
AIIMS MBBS 2018 exam had high difficulty level as expected. Physics was the toughest section while Biology and GK sections were easy to moderate. General Category candidates will have to achieve minimum cut-off scores of 50% to qualify the exam. There are 672 MBBS seats available across 7 AIIMS this year.
Mansi Kumaria, who appeared for AIIMS MBBS on Sunday, found the biology section the easiest. She said, “Most of the questions were NCERT based. The chemistry paper was moderately tough”.
Neeraj who appeared in the entrance exam from Delhi said that the questions from “Physics were difficult and tricky.”
Baynath, another candidate appearing in AIIMS MBBS 2018 exam for the second time found the exam to be tough compared to the previous year. “I found all section to be of moderate level, expect Physics and Chemistry.”
Rahul, who appeared in the second slot of AIIMS MBBS from Nagpur said, “I have attempted a good number of questions from all the subjects. Though Physics was tough I attempted good number of questions from this section also. The easiest section for me was General Knowledge. I didn’t find any technical problem while giving the entrance exam”.
Sanaa, a candidate from Haryana also echoed the sentiment of “Physics being very tough and numerical questions taking a lot of time.” She added that “Biology was a cakewalk” and was easier than she expected it would be.
Attempt: As per the experts, students who prepared properly for the medical entrance exam will be able to answer approximately 80% of the paper without any problem.
Difficulty Level: The question paper was slightly towards the difficult side of physics being the toughest of the four (Biology, Chemistry, Physics and GK). The moderate level of Chemistry, Biology and GK is a good way to balance out the difficulties in the Physics section.
AIIMS Cut off is the least score that a candidate needs to score in order to be eligible for the counselling process and take admission in the participating institutes. As per the AIIMS MBBS qualifying criteria,
The cut off will be determined on the basis of percentile as the examination will be held in two shifts and a Normalization Procedure will be used to determining the qualifying criteria.

AIIMS MBBS Cut off varies every year according to each of the AIIMS Institutes. The cut off is released after the AIIMS Result is declared. All the existing AIIMS announce their respective cut off list. Provided the candidates qualify the cut off, they can proceed to the counselling process for admission.

AIIMS Result will be declared on June 18, 2018. It can be checked on the official website of AIIMS. It will include names of all the qualifying candidates who successfully cleared AIIMS MBBS. It will be declared rank wise as well as roll number wise.
