How to Apply for HPCET 2017

    HPCET 2017 Online form is available on the HPTU official site i.e. www.himtu.ac.in. Candidates can apply for HPCET 2017 in online mode only. Last date to apply for HPCET 2017 is April 29, 2017. All of those engineering aspirants who wish to participate in the entrance examination of HPCET 2017 will have to register themselves by filling and submitting the application form. The state level engineering entrance exam of HPCET will be conducted by the Himachal Technical University and admissions into around 18 engineering colleges will be provided.

    HPCET Application process is a 5-step process i.e. Registration, Filling the HPCET Application Form, Uploading the Photo and Signature followed by Application fee payment and printing the confirmation page. Register online on the official website and then note down the login credentials given on the screen. Then, fill the personal, academic and communication details.

    Before filling the online application form of HPCET 2017, the applicants will have to make sure that they read the eligibility criteria as provided by the admission committee. The application form of those applicants who do not meet the criteria will be rejected. It is important to note that all of the information provided in HPCET Application Form 2017 has to be valid.

    The admission to all the courses will be made on the basis of merit or rank/marks obtained in the National Level Entrance Test / HPCET-2017, subject to fulfillment of minimum educational qualification.

    The exam will be held on May 14, 2017 and May 15, 2017. Last date to apply for HPCET 2017 is April 29, 2017. The important dates for the HPCET engineering entrance exam 2017 are as follows:

    How to Apply for HPCET 2017?

    In order to complete the HPCET Application Form, candidates must follow the steps given below:

    Step 1: Registration

    • All candidates have to apply online on the prescribed application form available on the University website i.e. www.himtu.ac.in.
    • The candidate must click on “New Registration” tab to complete the Registration Process.

    • A Unique Form Number will show which will be used for further reference. Students’ need to write down the application form number, user name, password and date of birth.
    • Enter the required credentials i.e. Username, Password, Date of Birth, Email ID and Mobile number and then click on direct link of the create account.

    Step 2: Login to fill HPCET 2017 Application form

    HPCET 2017 Registration Form will get open. Enter the required details such as name, mobile number, and email id and so on.

    Step 3: Upload Photograph and Signature

    Scanned Photograph: Now upload your latest scanned photograph size must be up to 50 kb in JPEG/ JPG format only.

    Scanned Signature: Students need to upload your latest digital signatures of file size up to 30 kb. After submission, the next process to be for Fee payment and page will appear automatically.

    Note: The photograph and signature should be clear and accurate as Application form with unclear images would be summarily rejected.

    Step 4: Confirmation Page

    After uploading the images, confirmation page will appear with the submit & go for Payment option. Here below is the screenshot of the fields to be entered:

    Step 5: Pay the HPCET 2017 Exam Fee

    1. After submission of the application form, the applicants will be automatically redirected to the page for fee payment.

    2. The application fee is discussed below:

    3. Two modes of payment will be available. The following 2 links will appear:

    • “Offline link to generate PNB Challan” and,
    • “Online Fee Payment Link”

    4. Select the mode of payment as per the convenience.

    HPCET Application Fee Payment through PNB Challan:

    1. Click on the offline link to generate PNB Challan

    2. After clicking, bank challan in triplicate - candidate copy, bank copy and university copy will be generated-

    3. Get printout of the challan and deposit it at the nearest PNB branch along with the prescribed application fee in cash.

    4. Candidates have to re-login their account after 24 hours of the challan submission and enter transaction number in the required payment page provided by the bank on the Bank Challan on fee payment.

    5. Click on “Save Payment Details”

    6. Now, the candidate will automatically proceed to the “Confirmation Page”

    1. Click on the “Online Fee Payment Link”

    2. Read all the terms and conditions carefully

    3. Choose from the below payment methods:

    • HDFC Credit Card
    • HDFC Debit Card
    • Other Credit Card
    • Other Debit Card
    • Net banking

    4. Now select your card type and enter the required details.

    5. If a candidate’s application fee has been debited, but he/she is not able to get the PDF, the candidate has to pay again to get the PDF.

    After successfully submitting the fee, get the printout of HPCET-2017 Application Form (PDF) duly signed by your parent/guardian and send it at the following address on or before May 1, 2017.
