NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
TS LAWCET (Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test), is a state level entrance examination of Telangana state, organized by Kakatiya University. The TS LAWCET Exam selects candidates for various undergraduate law programs in Telangana.
The TS LAWCET Admissions usually starts in the month of March, followed by the examination taking place in the month of May. The examination lets candidate enter LLB (3 years) or Integrated LLB (5 years) programs.
Candidates will be allotted seats after the TS LAWCET Counselling procedure, which will take place after the result is declared. Candidates will be granted admission on the basis of merit only. There are no official dates announced by the concerned authorities, hence the following dates are tentative dates as predicted by judging the pattern over the previous year.
The organizing university announces the dates, along with other details regarding the examination on their official website. However, the university has not announced any official dates as of yet. But going by the trends in the previous years, the following are the tentative dates for the purpose of reference for year 2017:

The application form for TS LAWCET 2017 will be released by the authorities in the third week of March 2017. The candidates have to fill the form online on the official website of the university. While filling the application form, candidates would have to upload a scanned copy of their colored passport sized photograph along with a digital signature.
The registration fee is INR 350/- for general candidates, and INR 250/-for SC/ST candidates. The candidates will have to pay the registration fee online. Fee can also be paid by going to the designated online centeINR Below are the dates regarding the submission of the application form.

The TS LAWCET Admit Card will be released one week before the TS LAWCET exam date. The candidates can view and download their admit cards from the official website of the university.
The admit cards will not be sent by post or any other method of correspondence to any candidate. The admit card would contain crucial information related to the exam, like name and code of exam center, date and time of exam, candidate’s name & roll number, etc. The candidates are required to carry the printout of the admit card, along with a valid ID proof to the exam center on the day of exam, as no entry will be granted on failure to produce an admit card.

The TS LAWCET exam is held in English and Telugu languages. It has a total of 120 objective type questions which are to be solved in 90 minutes. There are no negative markings. The exam comprises of three parts, namely General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the Study of Law. Given below are important dates regarding the exam:

TS LAWCET Result is released in the month of June. Candidates can view the result on the official website of the authority. For future references, candidates are advised to take a printout of their result as it will prove to be helpful during the course of admission procedure. The cutoff is set at 35% marks, although no cutoff is set for SC/ST categories.
