TS LAWCET 2019 or Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test 2019 is an annual state-level entrance exam for admission into undergraduate law programs in the state of Telangana. TS LAWCET is convened by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of TSCHE (Telangana State Council for Higher Education), the apex body of Higher Education in the state.

Telangana State Council for Higher education sets the eligibility criteria for candidates to appear in TS LAWCET 2019. However, the criteria may vary on the basis of course that a candidate is opting to get admission in, 3 year LLB course or 5 year LLB course.
Details of TS LAWCET Eligibility Criteria 2019 according to different courses are mentioned below:
|3 Year LLB||Graduation degree or equivalent from a recognized University with minimum 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST Candidates). In case a candidate has scored less than 45% in qualifying exam, he/she should have passed an additional degree with minimum 45% marks.||Maximum age should not exceed 30 years as on December 31, 2019 (can be relaxed up to 5 years in case of SC/ST Candidates)|
|5 Year LLB||Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent from a recognized Board with minimum 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST Candidates).||Maximum age should not exceed 20 years as on December 31, 2019 (can be relaxed up to 2 years in case of SC/ST Candidates)|

Please note that applicants who submit a valid email id in TS LAWCET 2019 Application Form will receive a copy of the filled-in form via email.
The expected application fee for TS LAWCET 2019, based on previous year’s trend, and assuming that candidate is filling the form before the last date, is as follows:

Applicants who have submitted the Application Form complete in all respects along with the requisite fees will be issued TS LAWCET 2019 Admit Card. The same can be downloaded from the official website, expectedly in May 2019.

Please note that the admit card is a mandatory document that needs to be carried by candidates in person to the exam center.
Applicants can, during the application process, select their choice of exam center. The allocation of exam center is done by exam conducting authority on the basis of the candidate’s preference. However, the authority’s decision in this regard is final and binding on all.

TS LAWCET 2019 Exam Pattern is designed by TSCHE and aims to test candidates’ ability and aptitude to pursue the study of law. The test will have a total of 120 questions, split into 3 sections. The maximum marks that can be scored in the exam are 120 and the time allowed to complete the test is 90 minutes. The section-wise break-up of questions is tabulated below:

TSCHE has preset cut-off score for the counseling process. A candidate has to at least score 35% in TS LAWCET 2019 in order to be eligible for counselling, the score works out as 42 of 120. There is no specific relaxation in cut-off for SC/ST candidates. Candidates also need to meet the individual cut-off scores released by the respective colleges in order to secure admission in the programs offered by them.
