CLAT 2015 Cut Off: Exam Analysis

In this section, we bring you the entire examination analysis. English was the most difficult of all the five-sections with General Knowledge and Current Affairs to be the easiest one. We have divided the analysis into section wise category. It is as follows:

      • Numerical Aptitude section was slightly tougher than the last year. Most of the question covered in this section was from Algebra and Number System. The questions were tricky but worth the marks.
      • Logical Reasoning section had easy to moderate level of questions. This section had 3 puzzles out of which one was extremely tough. However, the rest of the question was comparatively easy. Problems from the analytical reasoning included Facts, Inference & Judgment, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations and Syllogism.
      • Legal Aptitude section had a lot of questions from Legal Knowledge that was not asked in the past year. There were some assertion-reason type questions also found in the section, making it quite unexpected. However, candidates who have prepared well and have learned a handful of legal jargons from their reference books and practiced last 5 years papers could have definitely scored better. Overall, the questions were pretty straightforward and to the point.
      • English section had the most difficult and unexpected questions. Many of CLAT 2015 aspirants found this section to be too lengthy and time consuming of all sections. There were two Reading Comprehensions out of which one was short and another was a long one.
      • General Knowledge and Current Affairs section was the easiest out of all the sections in CLAT 2015. Most of the questions were from the current affairs of the previous year. There were only 4-5 questions from General Knowledge. Aspirants who had prepared the current affairs of past one year could have easily scored good marks in the section. This section could be marked as the easiest of all the sections in CLAT 2015.
