NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
CDS is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice every year. It is a national level entrance exam for recruitment to Indian Defence Forces. CDS examination is conducted for recruitment of eligible candidates in INA, IMA, AFA and Officer Training Academy. The exam consists of three papers i.e. English, Mathematics and General Knowledge.
However, For Officers’ Training Academy, only two papers are there viz. English and General Knowledge. General Knowledge is a key component in both Indian Armed Forces and Officer’s Training recruitment. Therefore, having the general awareness of the world becomes all the more important.
CDS General Knowledge paper is an objective type paper of 100 marks with 120 questions. To help aspirants have a better understanding about the pattern of questions for CDS General Knowledge section, we have mentioned below some topics from previous year’s papers.

CDS 2018 exam will have 120 multiple choice questions from General Knowledge section. This section is the scoring subject in CDS Examination to the candidate who stays aware of the latest happenings and events.
