TOPIC: Leisure Time

Do you have any hobbies?

Well, everyone has their own interest to delve into during leisure time, and mine is watching movies. My favorite movie is Taxi Driver by Martin Scorsese, which I’ve watched around 23 times. It’s a cinematic marvel and ever-green classic.

How important is it for you to have a hobby?

See, in today’s fast-paced world with hectic lifestyles, engaging yourself in some sort of recreational activity is a real stress-buster. It does a great deal in unwinding your wind and forgetting the various worries for a little while.

Should one spend too much time engaged in a hobby?

No, I believe that hobbies should be just resorted to while you have some leisure time at hand, otherwise you will most probably find it difficult to manage your life’s priorities including family, friends and professional work. Therefore, I consciously limit my time devoted to a hobby and thereafter, focus on the more important stuff.

Also Check,

How do you usually spend your weekends?

I’m not a very social butterfly sort of a person, therefore I stay at my home during the weekends and make a hot cup of coffee, bake some cake and watch the latest movies streaming on Netflix. I’m not a party animal, so during weekends, I always refuse all the party invitations from my friends. Nothing seems a more perfect weekend to me.

What is the one thing you’ve never done before in your leisure time and would like to do someday?

I would really love to try my hand at a solo mountaineering adventure. It sounds very thrilling and exciting and I think I would get a real adrenaline rush by reaching miles above sea level.

Thus, this was a common instance of how you should approach while practicing on the IELTS speaking sample answer. This, along with keeping your tongue fluent and mind cool, are some of the most crucial tips for IELTS speaking test.
