Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my satisfaction and admiration regarding the food my friends and I got served at your restaurant a week ago. My name is David and I came with my friends to your restaurant to celebrate my 23rd birthday dinner party. We placed orders for food and drinks to the waitress who assured us that our order would be ready in thirty minutes. The meals were served on time along with the appetizers. The potato salads and grilled chicken breasts that were served were warm and spicy, just like we instructed the waitress.
I am writing to thank you for the great night that we had at your restaurant. It is all thanks to the waiter named Stella, who was friendly, cordial and who put up with our bad jokes. All my friends remarked afterward on the standard of the food and the service that we have received. The food tasted amazingly delicious and was well presented. The atmosphere in the restaurant was friendly and warm. So, we already made our plans to visit the restaurant sometime later next month for our get-together.
I would like to suggest one improvement. Few of my friends were vegetarian and they felt that the food options for vegetarians were too limited. If you could develop a menu offering more vegetarian dishes, it would be amazing and can add a great advantage to your restaurant.
Apart from that, I am really glad that I chose your restaurant to celebrate my birthday party. I would like to convey my thanks to Stella, the waitress and your restaurant for making my birthday memorable.

I am writing with respect to the meal that I had in your restaurant with my family on 27th July. We went to visit your restaurant to celebrate my recent promotion. The experience that we had at the restaurant is far from satisfactory. We all had high expectations of the quality of the food that is served at the restaurant but we were left disappointed. Therefore, I am hoping this letter will help you take measures to improve your food service and quality.
I chose your restaurant last week to celebrate the special occasion of my promotion. I booked the table 3 days back and confirmed it over the phone. One of your staff members that spoke to me assured me that the meal would be available once we showed up.
However, when we arrived at the restaurant, we were made to wait for more than 30 minutes as there were other guests who had already occupied our table. Later, we were served a basket of stale bread and expired butter. Though we ordered a chocolate cake to commemorate my recent promotion, we were served slices of mouldy cheesecake. Overall, it was a disappointing and awful experience and I was forced to pay for services that I didn’t even receive.
In keeping this in mind, I would like to demand a letter of apology from your waitress who ignored the food orders I placed from your restaurant menu. In the future, I would like to request your chefs to adhere to strict hygienic and culinary practices. I request you to take my concerns seriously and deal with the issues stated in this letter.

Two days earlier before this, I had dined at your restaurant with my family to commemorate my mother’s birthday. I am hoping that with this letter at least, you would improve your meal quality and train your staff to behave cordially and professionally.
Last Saturday, when we arrived at your restaurant with my friends to have dinner on the occasion of my friends together. We decided to come to your restaurant due to many recommendations that I received from my colleagues and relatives. We were disappointed because the food provided was not up to our satisfaction and we felt that your staff were not cordial.
We ordered items from the Chinese menu and sadly, it was served cold. The soup that we ordered was not freshly made and the momos were not cooked properly. We also ordered fried rice with vegetables but the waiter served us fried rice with eggs instead. We had to wait for more than 40 minutes to sort this out. Moreover, when we complained to your head waiter, instead of listening to this, he instead argued with us and this bad experience ruined our special occasion.
I am writing this letter hoping that you would look into this matter immediately and take measures to instruct your staff to behave more cordially and listen to customer complaints instead of arguing. Moreover, it would be better if your staff could check the dishes that customers ordered twice and make sure to deliver the right food item to us.
