NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the SSC MTS exam each year to recruit candidates for the posts of Multi-Tasking Staff. SSC is a government organization, which has the responsibility of selecting skilled aspirants for the Ministries and Departments of the Government of India. It came in to existence on 4th November 1975. The official notification from SSC can be expected to be released around 24th December 2016. The application process can be expected to continue till 20th January 2017. The exam is held each year and the number of aspirants increasing every year. The competition has increased tremendously as entries come from all over the world and it is important to score exceptionally well to get the government job the candidates dream of.

The recruitment is based on the candidate’s performance in the exam. The exam has two parts: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is an OMR based test. On the basis of performance in Paper 1, candidates will be shortlisted and called for Paper 2.
In order to clear the SSC MTS paper with good marks, it is imperative that the candidate refers to the right source of material in an organized and planned manner. The following article mentions some of the useful books that candidates over the years have benefited from.

SSC MTS Exam has two parts: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is an OMR based exam with many sub parts, namely:
Paper 2 will be set in both English and Hindi language and possibly in other languages as well mentioned in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution. The paper requires candidates to write one short essay or letter in the language chosen by the candidate. The cutoff for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be decided by the SSC.

It is important that the candidate chooses the study material wisely. Although candidates can get their hands on a plethora of books to help with the preparation, candidates should focus on fewer books for preparation rather than going through many different ones. Along with the study material, candidates should schedule their daily studying habits in a beneficial fashion. The schedule should be easy to follow and should have reasonable breaks for relaxation. The key is to revise on a regular basis. After finishing their study material, candidates should also focus on solving sample papers and previous year papers. This not only gives the candidate an idea of the pattern of the exam, but also helps the candidate to manage finishing the paper in the given time.
