IOCL Recruitment 2017: Apply for Assistant Engineer post

IOCL is inviting applications for the post of Assistant Engineer and Jr. Office Assistant at Raipur & Bhuvneshwar. Candidates having graduate degree/ Engineering diploma are eligible to apply. The last date of registration is February 13, 2017. The selection of candidates is based on written test and skill test. The pay scale is INR- 11,900 to 32,000 for both posts. The application fee is INR-100.

IOCL Recruitment 2017 Eligibility

Assistant Engineer (Electrical): Candidates must have a diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a government recognized university. They must have obtained at least 55% of marks in their educational qualification.

Jr. Office Assistant: Candidates should be passed in full time B.A/ B.Sc./ B.Com/ BBA/ BCA/ BJMC degree from a Govt. recognised university.

Age Limit

Candidate should not be less than 18 years of age and should not be more than 26 years of age. There is a relaxation in age of 5 years for SC/ ST category and 3 years for OBC category. The age limit will be calculated as on January 13, 2017.

  5. Make the payment of INR-100/- through demand draft in the favour of IOCL payable at SBI, Bhubaneshwar.

IOCL Recruitment Selection Process

The selection of candidates is based on written test followed by a skill test and personal interview. The written test qualified candidates will be called for skill test and personal interview. After that, the shortlisted candidates will be appointed for above-mentioned posts.

There will be total 120 objective type questions in written test. It comprises of aptitude, reasoning, general English & general knowledge sections. Each question carries one marks and there is no negative marking.

Pay Scale

The consolidated remuneration is between INR- 11,900 and 32,000. In addition to basic pay, DA, HRA, medical facilities and such other benefits as per the rules of IOCL.

IOCL Recruitment General Instructions

Candidates can check the following general instructions for IOCL Recruitment 2017 which are given below:

  • Candidates possessing the higher qualification of graduate and above degree in Engineering or its equivalent need not apply for mentioned posts.
  • Candidates employed in Government/ Public Sector Organization must send their application through proper channel or produce “No Objection Certificate” at the time of appearing in the Interview.
  • Candidates have to make their own arrangement for lodging and boarding for appearing in Written Test, Skill test and Personal Interview.
  • IOCL reserves the right to reject any candidate at any stage of selection process. Canvassing in any form will be the result of disqualification.
  • The decision of the Management in all matters relating to eligibility, qualification, acceptance or rejection of the application, mode of selection etc. will be final and no enquiry will be entertained in this regard.
