NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
NEET PG (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Post-Graduate) is a test conducted for admissions to MD/ MS and PG Diploma Courses. NEET PG 2017 Exam comprises of subjects as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by Medical Council of India with prior approval of Government of India. NEET PG is a multiple choice questions exam and is conducted in online mode.
Candidates are required to accept a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before starting the examination. Candidates will get the benefit of Demo Test 15 minutes before starting the examination. All the subjects taught in the MBBS course will come in the exam including para-clinical, pre-clinical and clinical.
The paper consists of 300 objective type questions and out of which only single option is correct. NEET PG 2017 morning session held on December 5, 2016. The exam is held in English language. Students will be given 1 mark for each correct answer and there is no provision of negative marking. The duration of the NEET PG exam is 3 hours 30 minutes.
The overall difficulty level was marked moderate by some candidates. Deciders or the subjects that could bring a substantial difference to your overall ranking were mostly Pre-Clinical Subjects. Pre-Clinical subjects carried a high weightage in the morning session exam.
Most of the questions were asked from Pathology and the least number of questions were from Gynecology. Among short subjects, Orthopedics carried very high weight age. In morning session, ENT, Forensic Medicine & Surgery carried considerably low weightage marks.
Most of the candidates concluded that, many questions in morning session were one liners. This year also, no clinical question was asked. Image based questions were of high weightage and there were around 30 image based questions.

The overall level of difficulty was marked moderately difficult. It is concluded that, most of the questions in NEET PG 2017 exam came from recent mock test series. Out of 300 questions, 90 questions were difficult, 80 were moderate and the rest were easy. The distribution of questions is given in the following table-

NEET PG Result will be released on January 15, 2017. Checking the previous year cutoffs is the best medium to understand the pattern of the exam. With the help of it, candidates can also estimate the expected cutoff for NEET PG 2017.
