NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
NCHMCT JEE syllabus covers questions from General Knowledge, English, Knowledge of Hospitality Services, Logical Reasoning and Numeric Ability. There is a total of 200 questions in the NCHMCT JEE exam. For every correct answer 1 mark is awarded to the candidate and the negative marking for every wrong answer is 0.25 marks from the total marks obtained.
National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam, NCHMCT-JEE is conducted for admission to 51 hotel management institutes including 20 IHMs. The NCMHCT-JEE 2017 is scheduled on April 29, 2017. The NCHMCT JEE 2017 exam pattern must be clear before preparation starts. The marks distribution for each section is as follows:

The candidates have to prepare for each section separately following the NCHMCT JEE 2017 syllabus. The NCHMCT JEE 2017 exam paper will come in both Hindi and English language
The Aptitude and Service Sector section has different marking scheme. The more close the option is to the correct answer 1 marks is given, the next appropriate answer will give you 0.75 marks, and next correct answer will award you 0.50 marks. The farther the answer goes from the correct answer 0.25 mark is deducted proportionately. If the incorrect answer is marked 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total marks obtained by the candidate.
The Numerical ability section in NCHMCT JEE 2017 syllabus is designed to test the knowledge of basic mathematics which is from class 10 and 12 level. The question in NCHMCT Numerical Ability covers Ages, Boats and Streams, Clock and Calendar, algebra are sometimes difficult to interpret. Ample amount of practice will help you identify the weak and strong heading in the section.

The reasoning section is designed to drill the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of various patterns, where the application of logic is required. The questions in NCHMCT Reasoning covers classification, series identification, symbols and notions, data interpretation and syllogism are often difficult. The questions on blood relations can be easily solved by drawing diagrams on a plane sheet of paper.

The English syllabus is vast and the section is designed to test the knowledge of vocabulary and basic grammar rules. The NCHMCT English will include questions in the form of fill in the blanks and MCQ (Multiple Choice Based) format. The candidate must learn more new words each day by keeping or following a word list. This helps in improving the vocabulary and identifies the usage of words in the different scenario. Reading comprehension based questions are often used to test the understanding of the facts provided in the passage.
