As compared to the previous year exam, this time the paper was very easy and scoring for those who have studied very well. As the exam is comprised of three papers so, its difficulty level increased from Paper I to Paper III.

However, General Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Questions were found to be difficult to solve for Arts and Sanskrit candidates. So, it is right to say that the Paper I and Paper II were comparatively tougher. The difficulty level of CBSE UGC NET is as follows:

  • 60 questions from Paper 1 were easy to attempt, hence good score is expected. The questions were based on Logical Reasoning & Interpersonal skills, Environmental Science, Education, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude etc.
  • However, Paper 2 and Paper 3 had a moderate difficulty level.
