NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination is conducted by Staff Selection Commission(SSC) every year for recruitment to non-technical Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ non gazetted posts in a range of Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of the Government of India.
Many aspirants get confused about what books to refer for different sections present in SSC CGL. Thus, this article is going to clear the confusion in order to get one started with preparation of one of the most valuable government exams in India. Since, SSC CGL 2017 official notification is out, the online registration has already commenced and aspirants can fill the form till June 16, 2017. SSC CGL tier I exam is scheduled from August 1, 2017 to August 20, 2017.
Computer Based Test is the new mode which was introduced in SSC CGLE 2016. In tier 1 examination there are 100 questions with the exam duration of 60 minutes. Subjects will be same as previous CGL pattern i.e. Reasoning, English, Quantitative Aptitude and General Knowledge including General Awareness.
Note that, there will be negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer given in Tier-I.

In Tier II examination, there are two exams that are conducted on the same day, that are of English and Mathematics. English Examination has 200 question with 200 marks and Mathematics examination has 100 questions with 200 marks.
