UPSC Recruitment of Professors in Ambedkar Institute of Technology, New Delhi

As per the latest advertisement released by UPSC, there are vacancies for the post of Professor in the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering in Ambedkar  Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies & Research. Candidate with any type of Physical disability viz. Cerebral Palsy with One Leg affected (Right or Left)(OL) or One Arm affected (Right or Left)/Locomotor Disability/Orthopedically Handicapped are eligible to apply for this post.

Pay scale: The pay scale offered to the appointed candidate is Rs. 37400- 67000/ + Rs. 10000(Academic Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs.106650 Approx.) + T.A. & H.R.A.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: Candidates have to hold either Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering/ Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from any recognized university or Ph.D. in the equivalent specialty.

Work Experience

A candidate must have at minimum 10 -13 years of working experience in research/ or teaching/or industry out of which minimum 5 years of experience as an Associate Professor.


The maximum age limit of the candidate must be 50 years.

How to Apply

Aspirants may fill the application form by visiting the official website of UPSC i.e. and look for the application form submission notification. Candidates are advised to fill the form carefully and with legit details, once the payment is done no request of change in information will be entertained.

  • Correctly enter the details like Name, Parent’s Name, DOB, Address, Contact information.
  • Then enter the academic details like qualification, grade, courses, institution name, etc.
  • Aspirants have to fill their work experience details also.
  • Candidates are required to upload the following documents, to complete the form.
  • Certificates related to educational qualification viz. Degree, diploma, and matriculation mark sheet.
  1. Proof of Date of Birth,
  2. Experience certificate,
  3. Photograph
  4. Caste certificate for the reserved category candidates
  5. Physically Disabled certificate from the legal authority.
  • These documents must be utmost of 2 MB and should be accurately resized and scaled in the specified format.
  • After completing the form candidate are required to do the payment of Rs. 25 either online or offline (at the nearest SBI branch).
  • Candidates who are willing to apply for more than one post have to fill the application form individually and make the payment separately.
  • After the final submission of the Online Recruitment Application (ORA), aspirants are instructed to take a print out of the same.

Selection Process

The Commission will shortlist the candidates depending upon the number of application received to a practicable number for the interview through any of the following methods.

  • Considering the Desirable Qualification (DQ) as recommended in the advertisement for all the post.
  • Considering the higher experience in the relevant field as recommended in the advertisement for all the post.
  • Recruiting through a recruitment test.

Selection through Interview

Generally, shortlisted candidates are directly called for the interview and then as per the result the final merit list is prepared. The minimum score to qualify the interview round is different for all the categories and here we have mentioned the cutoff marks list of the same.
