STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
JEECE 2019 or Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination is an annual state-level undergraduate engineering entrance exam conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board (JCECEB). Applicants who qualify JEECE 2019 can seek admission to B. Tech/B. E. programs in various colleges in Jharkhand. The official notification for JEECE 2019 will be released by JCECEB in due course. The eligibility conditions of JEECE 2019 are listed below. Applicants are advised to study the conditions carefully before applying for the entrance test.
JEECE 2019 Application Form will be available in the online mode at the official website. There are no means of applying for the entrance test in offline mode. The Application Forms are expected to be available in April 2019. The steps involved in the application process is elaborated below:

The expected application fee for JCEECE 2019, based on previous year’s trend, is expected to be INR 900 (INR 450 for SC/ST candidates and female candidates). The fee details are tabulated below for better understanding:

Applicants who have submitted the Online Application Form complete in all respects along with the requisite fees will be issued the JEECE 2019 Admit Card. The same has to be downloaded from the official website. Please note that there are no other means of accessing the document other than downloading from the website.
JEECE 2019 Admit Card will be available online, a couple of weeks prior to the scheduled exam date. Details like Applicant’s name, Registration Number, Photograph, Date of Birth, Exam Venue, Exam Date, and Timings, etc. will be printed on the Admit Card. Candidates need to carry the Admit Card along with a valid photo ID proof in person to appear for the entrance exam.

Applicants can, during the application process, select their choice of exam center. The allocation of exam center is done by the JCECEB on the basis of candidates’ preferences. However, the authority’s decision in this regard is final and binding on all.

JEECE 2019 will be conducted in the offline mode in both English and Hindi language. There would be 3 sections in the exam: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics wherein the first two subjects will comprise Paper I and the 3rd subject will be covered in Paper II. Each subject will pose 50 objective-type questions, and candidates will be allotted 2 hours and 1 hour to complete Paper I and Paper II respectively. Questions asked would be of the intermediate level.
Candidates will have to mark their answers in OMR Response sheets. Each correct answer would be awarded +1 mark while each incorrect answer will attract a penalty of -0.25 mark. Unattended questions will not be evaluated.

JEECE 2019 Syllabus comprises of three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, each subject carrying equal weightage of questions. The scope of the subjects will be that of CBSE Class 12 syllabus.

On the basis of candidates’ performance in JEECE 2019, a combined merit list, as well as a category-wise merit list, will be published by JCECEB. The merit lists will be used for seat allotment for admissions.
JCECEB has a pre-determined tie-breaking sequence for instances when two or more candidates secure the same ranking in the merit list:
JEECE 2019 Cut off score is released on the official website post-results as per candidate category. The cut-off score acts as the decisive factor in the context of a candidate’s eligibility for admission. The rank list is prepared on the basis of the cut-off scores.
