NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) is conducted by VIT University for admission to multiple streams of B.Tech program offered by VIT campuses at Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Amravati. VITEEE 2019 will be conducted from April 4 to April 16, 2019 through online mode. VIT application forms will be available on the University website in November 2018.

VIT University does not announce any official cut off. However, it is just the closing rank considered for admission on the basis of the exam. VITEEE closing rank will be declared after the result of the VITEEE. Based on score of the candidate, he/she is assigned a rank. The rank of the candidate determines his/her admission in different branches of engineering at its two campuses located at Chennai and Vellore. Candidates must fall in the specified VITEEE cutoff range, to be able to secure admission.
Every year, around 2 lakh aspirants registered for the VIT engineering entrance exam, for admission to more than 5,000 seats available in 14 UG engineering streams (B.Tech) in Chennai and Vellore campus of VIT University.
The VIT University will use the Equating Method to predict the ranks of the aspirant in VITEEE. Based on the performance of the candidate in the test, the university will calculate the percentile rank of the candidates.
On the basis of the VITEEE Closing Rank over past few years, an estimate of the closing rank for the year 2019 is drawn which will give a rough idea to the aspirant as to how high the cut-off / ranks can go. It will help to the candidates in the preparations for their exam. The estimated cut off ranks are given below:

The cut-off list specifies the minimum score, which VIT will consider for selecting the candidates for admission in different branches of Engineering. VITEEE cut-off is not declared by VIT University. However, the VITEEE 2019 closing rank can be considered as a cutoff for admission in different branches of undergraduate engineering programmes.The VITEEE closing rank may vary every year.
