NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
Sandeep Kumar Dundigalla appeared for VITEEE in 2005 and scored 103 marks in it. His scores made him to get admission into VIT. He says, get motivated and be confident during the exam time. He advised to mug up the books thoroughly and regular practice is must to win the battle. We interviewed him and he shares with us his experience of how he prepared for VITEEE and nailed it. Ans. I joined Narayana Junior College. It’s one of the biggest coaching institute with many branches. But they only care for the top performing students. The institute primarily gives coaching for IIT, AIEEE and EAMCET. They does not specifically teach anything for VITEEE. But VITEEE syllabus gets covered along with other exams classes.
Ans. One advantage we have with the state syllabus is our curriculum is very close to the entrance exams curriculum, especially mathematics. So preparing for 12th helped me for the entrance exams as well. Only thing is we need to prepare more for the entrance exams. In our college the focus was always on the entrance exams. So this helped us a lot.

Ans. Mathematics and Physics were my stronger areas. The coaching institute provides a number of materials related to the entrance exams. I also used to follow some books like S Chand for Mathematics and Arihant books for Physics which helped me in securing good marks.
Ans. VITEEE is comparatively an easy exam when compared to IIT, AIEEE, and EAMCET. Speed plays a major role here. Do not spend too much time if you are stuck on any question. Please go through the VITEEE syllabus first before going through the preparation. Make sure you cover the topics which are not the part of your state syllabus.
Ans. We did not have any mock tests at that time as it was a new exam. But now you can easily get the previous years’ papers. Get them and practice hard.
Ans. It was in 2005. I was new to the Internet itself. I didn’t follow any on-line courses as such. But now you may refer websites, there are many. Regular practice will help here. Practice as many questions as possible.
Ans. I used to follow Arihant books. It clearly explains the concepts you need. I followed Telugu Academy state book, HC Verma, and Narayana college material. Knowing the concepts is very important here. Also for the speed you need to know the short cuts as well.

Ans. I followed- OP Agarwal, OP Tandom, Telugu Academy state book, and Narayana college material. Memory plays an important role here. Keep by hearting the things and try to revise as much as possible.

Ans. If you are from Andhra and Telangana state then this exam is very easy for you. For others go through the syllabus and previous papers’ papers to get a feel of the examination.
Ans. I had secured 7000 AIR rank in AIEEE. I wish if I had scored more in this exam. I always wanted to study in IIIT Hyderabad.
