NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
GATE EE (Electrical Engineering) 2017 paper was conducted on February 11, 2017 in 2 sessions: morning and afternoon session. The exam carried 65 questions which were to be completed in 3-hour duration.
GATE EE paper had both MCQs and Numerical Type Questions. The difficulty level of GATE EE paper was easy to moderate. Candidates who prepared well for GATE 2017 can get a really good rank. Power Electronics, Power Systems and Electrical Machines dominated the GATE EE paper.
All the 3 sections had a different difficulty level. The General Aptitude section was moderate to difficult. Candidates found English the most difficult one while the Technical Subject was easy to moderate.

Know About GATE Paper Analysis
Candidates who appeared for GATE Electrical Engineering in shift 1, found English quite confusing. 1 mark questions were easy to solve but 2 mark questions were time consuming. GATE 2017 EE paper was not as difficult as compared to previous year GATE Paper. It was easy to score full marks in General Aptitude section.
