NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
GATE Answer Keys 2020 (CY) has been released by the conducting body at the official portal (gate.iitd.ac.in). In case, a candidate wants to challenge the answer keys, one can submit the objections from Feb 19 to 21, 2020 by making a payment of INR 500 for each question. After the evaluation of answers, the actual (raw) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered for evaluating GATE Scores. Meanwhile, you can check your rank Using GATE Rank Predictor.
For this session, GATE 2020 for Chemistry Paper was successfully conducted on February 2, 2020 in a single session. Candidates can check GATE 2020 Result on March 16 by visiting the official website. This year, the cut off for Gen. category is expected to be 35 this year. After the declaration of result, all the qualified candidates are called for GATE Counselling.

Apart from the compulsory section on General Aptitude testing language and analytical skills (10 questions totaling to 15 marks), the Chemistry (CY) Paper will have the rest of 55 questions (a mix of 1 and 2 mark questions) based on the subject, assessing candidates’ in-depth understanding of the domain-related concepts and their application. It is mandatory for candidates to attend all the questions in the paper.

GATE 2020 Cut-off score is the minimum score that candidates need to secure in order to qualify the entrance test. Please note that GATE Cut off will be separate for qualifying the exam and for admissions. The admissions cut-off will vary for each participating institute as it is dependent on the number of seats available at a particular institute as well as the number of applicants therein.
