KCET 2019 Admit Card

KCET 2019 Admit Card will be released online by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) on its official website, that is, www.kea.kar.nic.in. KCET Admit Card 2019 for the aspirants shall be made available a few days prior to the commencement of KCET 2019 examination, tentatively in the second week of April 2019. Candidates must enter their application number to download their respective hall ticket.

It must be noted that candidates can avail their KCET Admit card in the online mode only. KEA is not responsible for sending admit cards individually to candidates via any offline medium. Only those who fill KCET Application Form 2019 successfully along with paying the application fee shall be issued hall tickets.

In case of any discrepancy in KCET 2019 Admit Card, candidates must immediately report to KEA authorities and get it corrected to avoid any hindrance on the examination day. KCET 2019 or Karnataka Common Entrance Test is a state- level entrance test conducted for students interested in Medical, Dental, Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy, Engineering / Architecture, Farm science courses.


How to Download KCET 2019 Admit Card?

KCET 2019 Admit Card is an important document that will be made available from the second week of April 2019. KCET 2019 Admit Card needs to be retrieved online by individuals, from the official website of Karnataka Examination Authority.

Students must keep their KCET 2019 admit card safe and carry it along on the day of examination as it needs to be shown to the concerned exam center’s authority before entering the test center. Steps to download KCET 2019 admit card is mentioned below:

  • Visit the official website of KEA, i.e. www.kea.kar.nic.in
  • Login with the username and password.
  • Tap on KCET 2019 Admit Card link.
  • Enter student’s application number.
  • View and download ‘KCET 2019 Admit Card’
  • Keep a print copy of the admit card for future use.

Students are required to paste a passport size photograph on their admit card after taking a print out of the same, as per the stated guidelines.

Discrepancy in KCET 2019 Admit Card/ Hall Ticket

Students, after retrieving their KCET 2019 admit card, must verify all the details present on it. In case of any discrepancy relating to the details present on the admit card, they must get it all corrected immediately by reporting to Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) head office.

Documents required with KCET 2019 Admit Card/ Hall Ticket

Exam center authorities would verify the following documents along with KCET 2019 admit card, before letting students enter the premises:

  1. Print copy of KCET 2019 Admit Card with a latest colored passport sized photograph on it as per the mentioned guidelines is required.
  2. A valid government id proof is a must without which candidate’s identity could not be proved as an Indian citizen to the examination center’s authorities.
  3. In case, any candidate has changed his/her name on the documents they have presented, they must carry a relevant id proof that can justify their identity.

Candidates can bring any one of the following documents as their identity proof:

  • PAN card
  • Smart Card
  • Driving License
  • Voter ID
  • Passport

KCET 2019 Exam Centers

As per previous trends, KCET 2019 will be conducted at approximately 54 test centers in Karnataka. The test center for writing KCET 2019 to all the candidates will be assigned by the KEA Computers. KEA will assign the test centers within the district where candidates have studied their class 12.

Candidates who have studied qualifying examination within Karnataka should compulsorily appear for the Common Entrance Test in test center within the district he/she has studied 2nd PUC / Class 12th / equivalent examination.

These candidates will have to write ‘CET – 2019’ in a test center assigned by the KEA within the district in which the district in which the candidate has studied 2nd PUC or Class 12th.

The candidates claiming eligibility under Horanadu & Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses will have to appear for CET 2019 in a test center located only at Bangalore.


KCET 2019 Exam Day Instructions

There are few guidelines set by Karnataka Examination Authority, expected to be abided by students appearing for KCET 2019 examination. In case of any violation of the stated rules, they are liable for strict actions against them. Also, they might lose their candidature for the year. All the rules are listed below: 

  1. After retrieving KCET 2019 Admit Card, candidates are suggested to examine it thoroughly and if found any faults, it must be immediately reported and fixed by KEA authorities.
  2. Admit card issued by the examination conducting authorities is important which must be kept safe because they will not be allowed to appear for KCET 2019 examination without the same.
  3. Candidates must arrive at the test center at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
  4. In order to tick the answers in the OMR sheet, candidates are allowed to use blue or black ball point pen.
  5. Before entering the test center, candidates must make sure that their pockets are vacant except their KCET 2019 Admit Card .
  6. Candidates’ must make their signature in the attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator.
  7. In case, candidates notice any discrepancy in the question booklet or answer sheet, it must be brought to the invigilator’s notice and request to replace it.
  8. Candidates shall be granted at least 10 minutes of time, apart from the exam time to read the instructions stated on the answers sheet carefully.
