KCET 2019 Application Form

KCET Application Form 2019 will be available from January 2019. Aspirants interested to appear for the state entrance test must apply via the online portal i.e. KCET 2019 Application process is primarily divided into 3 main steps- Registration, Filling Application Form, and Fee Payment.

All those who fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria must fill the online application form. Application fees for General and OBC category are INR 650 while it is INR 500 for reserved category. A window for application form correction will also be open for editing the application form in March 2019.

Candidates are advised to go through the official notification uploaded on the website of KEA to be updated regarding the eligibility criteria and other updates. Only those who successfully register shall be issued KCET Admit Card.

KCET 2019 is a state-level offline test scheduled to take place in April 2019. It is conducted by KEA, Karnataka every year. Through this exam, students are admitted into the engineering, agriculture and medical sciences program offered by the participating government and private engineering colleges across the state.

KCET Eligibility Criteria 2019

KCET 2019 eligibility norms are as set up by the organizing board. Each individual must make sure that he meets the eligibility criteria before they apply for the exam. Before applying for KCET, check the eligibility criteria that are as stated below-

For Engineering/ Architecture Programs:

  • Applicants should have completed Class 12, 2nd year Pre-University or equivalent exam with Mathematics, Physics and English as compulsory subjects.
  • They should secure minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in Physics & Mathematics along with any one of the following subjects Chemistry/ Biology/ Bio-Technology/ Electronics/ Computer.
  • Students appearing in 10+2 final exam or equivalent are also eligible to apply for the test.

For Medical Science/ Agricultural Science/ Pharmacy Programs:

  • Participants must have completed Class 12 exam, 2nd year Pre-University or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics and English as mandatory subjects.
  • They must have obtained at least 50% marks (40% marks for reserved category) in PCB group.
  • Individuals appearing in their qualifying examination are also eligible to apply provided they fulfil the above criteria at the time of admission.

How to fill KCET Application Form 2019?

KCET Application Form 2019 will be available on the official website of KEA. Participants can fill and submit their application forms through the online window. Only those aspirants who apply for the test by uploading necessary documents and pay the requisite application fees within the stipulated time can appear for the test.

KCET 2019 application process comprises 3 main steps- Online Registration, Filling of Application Form & Uploading documents, and Payment of Fees.

Pre-requisites for filling KCET 2019 Application Form

  • Valid email ID and mobile number
  • Scanned images of photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression of applicants as per guidelines
  • Mark memos and other certificates (caste, income, etc.) for reference
  • Details of offline payment mode

Candidates can fill the KCET 2019 form by utilizing the guidelines that are mentioned below:

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit the official website of KCET 2019 i.e.
  • Select the option of ‘Click Here to Register’.
  • Read the instructions and accept the terms of the declaration.
  • Aspirants will have to choose their board of Class 12 exam. Those who are appearing for Karnataka PUC exam should enter their 13- digit ‘Student Number’ PUE department.
  • Individuals must provide basic details about themselves like their name, email ID, mobile number, and DOB. They will also have to choose a password and security question-answer for their user account and click on ‘submit’.
  • Upon successful registration, students will receive an Application Number and User ID on their registered email ID and mobile number. They must note this down for completing further steps.

Step 2: Filling KCET 2019 Application Form and Uploading Documents

  • Candidates should login to their accounts using the User ID and Password.
  • They must enter their personal, communication and educational details related to CET given previously.
  • Go through all the details carefully and click on ‘Save & Next’.
  • Next, they will have to upload scanned images of their recent passport- size photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression as per the guidelines given in the table below:

Step 3: Fee Payment

  • Participants will then have to pay KCET 2019 application fee.
  • Fees can be remitted only through the offline mode (e-Challan or DD).
  • The e-Challan can be deposited at selected branches of State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, Indian Bank and some post offices.
  • The DD should be drawn in the name of ‘Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority’ and payable at Bangalore.
  • Preserve a copy of transaction of the bank challan and take a print out of the duly filled application form for reference.

How to Retrieve KCET 2019 Password?

Students will have to choose a Password during the registration and application process. In case, an applicant forgets his password, then he can follow the steps stated below to retrieve it:

  • Log on to the registered applicant’s login page and click on ‘Forgot Password’.
  • Participants will then have to enter their registered Application Number, User ID, security question- answer and captcha code given on the page.
  • Aspirants will be directed to a new window to create a new password.

KCET 2019 Application Form Correction

Participants will be able to edit KCET Application Form2019 tentatively from the 2nd week of March 2019. This correction facility will be open for all registered candidates and is their only chance to rectify any mistakes made in filling the form. Details entered in only a few fields can be edited through this correction window. They can use the following steps to edit KCET 2019 Application Form:

  • Go to the official and click on ‘Editing CET 2019 Application’
  • Aspirants will have to enter their User ID and generate OTP on their registered mobile number
  • Edit the necessary fields and select the ‘Declare Button’
  • Submit the form and then take a print out of the edited KCET Application form.
