    Admit card for the KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) has been released by the KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority). All those candidates who have registered for the same are required to download their respective cards from the official website www.kea.kar.nic.in. KCET Admit Card 2017 would be available for download till April 26.

    The admit card contains the candidate name, registration number, roll number, exam venue and date along with their photograph and signature. Candidates are required to bring the printed KCET Admit Card 2017 on the exam day along with a valid ID proof. Applicants can choose from a number of cities across India for KCET 2017 Exam Centers while filling the application form.

    Karnataka CET will be conducted on May 2 and 3 in offline mode. The test will be conducted at 54 places spread over Karnataka. The registrations for KCET closed on February 27.

    Steps to download KCET Admit card 2017

    To download the admit card, candidates are required to enter their application number and date of birth in the window given below. Applicants have to download KCET Admit card 2017 and take a printout of the same because it will not be sent by post to any candidates.

    1. Log on to the official website www.kea.kar.nic.in
    2. Click on ' CET-2017 - Hall Ticket Download.
    3. In the provided fields, enter your application number and date of birth.
    4. Click on submit.
    5. Yours admit card will be displayed on the screen.
    6. Download the same and take a print out for future reference.

    KCET Admit card will contain detail about the exam and the candidates. It will be required until the end of admission process and hence should be kept in properly.

    Significance of KCET Admit Card 2017

    After downloading KCET admit card, the candidate must read the instructions carefully written on it and examine the entries made therein, applicants are required to bring the fresh copy of the hall ticket to the examination hall and also keep a copy of the same with them for the future references. KCET Admit card will bear the following information:

    • Candidate’s roll number
    • Candidate’s name, photograph, signature
    • Address of the test center allotted
    • Test date & time and all other relevant details.

    KCET Admit card will be available until April 26, 2017. Therefore, it is advised to keep at least 3 hard copies, or a soft copy of the admit card. KCET Admit card is not only required in the examination hall but they are equally important at the time of the counselling and seat allotment.

    How to retrieve KCET Admit Card 2017?

    Application number and password are the essential details required for downloading the admit card for KCET 2017. If a candidate forgets the password, they can select the option for “Forgot Password”. A mail will be sent to the registered e-mail ID to reset the password.

    KCET Exam Centers 2017 on Admit Card

    KCET 2017 will be conducted at 54 test centers in Karnataka. The test center for writing KCET 2017 to all the candidates will be assigned by the KEA Computers, the important thing about the test centers is, KEA will assign the test centers within the district where candidates have studied their class 12.

    The candidate who has studied qualifying examination within Karnataka should compulsorily appear for the Common Entrance Test in test center within the district he/she has studied 2nd PUC / Class 12th / equivalent examination.

    Such candidates will have to write ‘CET – 2017’ in a test center assigned by the KEA within the district in which the district in which the candidate has studied 2nd PUC or Class 12th.

    The candidate claiming eligibility under Horanadu & Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses will have to appear for CET 2017 in a test center located only at Bangalore.

    Candidates should not forget to take multiple Passport size colored photograph and Admit Card. Admit Card is the most important document candidates have to carry on the day of exam. Without the admit card entry in the examination hall is prohibited.

    1. Candidates should reach the examination center 45 minutes prior to the commencement of exam.
    2. Candidates can only enter the examination hall 30 minutes prior to commencement of exam.
    3. Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination center before the conclusion of KCET 2017 exam.
    4. No electronic gadgets like calculators, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, digital watches are allowed in the examination hall.
    5. No extra sheets, pages, rough sheets are allowed in the examination hall by the candidates.
